PNG New Connection :
New customer and customer registration

Application Procedure :
Inform IGL of your interest in getting a PNG connection.

To book your connection :
1.1 Enter your request(if your area is listed) by clicking on “New Connection” in the customer zone.
1.2 You can also lodge your request with IGL’s Helpline Number – 45195959

Fill in the Registration form :
Registration forms are also made available through the authorized DMA’s of IGL.

Submit it along with any one of the following ownership proofs :
4.1 Copy of electricity bill
4.2 House tax receipt
4.3 First 5 pages of the “Sales Deed”

Registration Charges :
Mandatory Security Deposit :
Submit a duly filled in registration form along with an Interest free Security deposit of Rs 6000 (Refundable) to be paid through either cheque or DD in favor of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. Break up of security deposit is –
A) Rs 5000 against installation and
B) Rs 1000 against gas consumption

Charges for people residing in Government/CPWD/NDMC accomodation :
2.1 Submit a Demand Draft of Rs 1000 against refundable interest free Security depoist.
2.2 Also submit the allotment letter provided by concerned department along with the photocopy of ID card.

Connection installation
Installation Procedure :
1.1 Survey to assess feasibility of gas connection.
1.2 Laying of MDPE after getting necessary permissions from the concerned civic authorities.
1.3 Laying of vertical piping to provide connectivity to the registered customers
1.4 Fitting and testing of GI/Copper pipe and meter.
1.5 Conversion of LPG stove to PNG and activation of gas connection.

Installation Charges :
2.1 Rs 6000 refundable security deposit submitted during registration includes up to 15 metres of GI/Copper Pipeline (excludes rubber pipe) as per PNGRB regulations.
2.2 For excess service line requirement
In case GI/ Copper Pipeline exceeds 15 metres, Rs 350 per meter shall be charged for the extra pipe length.
2.3 Extension & Modification charges
a) Second connection on the other floor shall be treated as a new connection.
b) Extension costing Rs 350 per meter can also be provided for gas geysers depending on the feasibility, subject to a minimum charge of Rs 500.

If you have a Net Banking account or any valid Visa, Mastercard, Diners Debit/Credit Card, you can pay your bill easily by following the steps given below:-
Go to www.iglonline.net
Under the “Customer Zone” tab provided on right side of the website, click on “Existing Customers” (if you are already registered)
Login with your user name (BP number) and password
Click on “Online Payment” and follow the steps provided on the screen. If you haven’t registered on our website, you may click “New Users” tab and register with your BP Number, Mobile Number & Email address to access your account details online.

Electronic Clearing Services (ECS) :
Under this system, your bank account would be debited through ECS facility for your PNG consumption bill amount. You do not have to open any new bank account for the purpose but your existing bank account is good enough to avail this easy payment facility.
Fill the ECS form (link provided below) and get it countersigned by your bank.

Courier the completed form with a cancelled blank cheque of the same bank account to IGL :-

Service shall be activated in 3 weeks from submission of ECS form.

Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) :
This facility is offered by most banks for easy payment process of bills through Net banking. To avail this facility, go to the website of your respective bank and log onto your account.
Click on “Bill Pay”
Click on “Register for a New Biller”
Enter “State” as “Delhi”
Enter “Category of Billers” as “Utility”
Choose “Indraprastha Gas Limited” from a list of options and Click on Register
Enter your BP Number and a nickname of IGL for your reference
You can choose to opt for “Auto pay” or “manual pay” from the options provided by bank.

Standing Instruction ON CARD :
Through this service, IGL customers can issue one time instruction to charge his credit card {Master/Visa/Diners} for payment of PNG bill. Thereafter, your card will debited automatically for your subsequent PNG bill amounts.

Voluntary Deposit Scheme (vds) :-
VDS :
Under this scheme, a minimum voluntary deposit of Rs. 2,500/- can be placed with Indraprastha Gas Limited. You shall be offered an interest AT 5% p.a. on the reducing balance after deduction of your PNG bills. The bill amount will reduce your deposit and you will continue to earn interest on the reduced balance.

To opt for VDS scheme, Fill the VDS form (link provided below) along with a DD/cheque favoring “Indraprastha Gas Limited A/c Business Partner no.______________” mentioning VDS on the reverse of the DD/ cheque.

At any of the conveniently located conventional drop boxes installed by IDBI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank for IGL. Follow instructions given on the bill while issuing the cheque for payment. Cash Payments can be made at select branches of IDBI Bank & Kotak Mahindra Bank Branches. Do not forget to mention your Business Partner no. on the bank voucher while making cash payment.

You can now walk-in to the authorized retail points and pay your IGL bills by Cash and/or by swiping a Credit/Debit card. The retail channels wherein payments of IGL bills will be accepted are Reliance Retail, Sify, Suvidha Infoservice etc.
