Editing & VFX Course :
Editing is the art where you learn to differentiate the wheat from chaff. It’s an art form which requires great visual sense-in motion and tones of patience and a fine tuned ear.
It’s the editor who aligns thousands of shots and sound bites, in a particular order, so as to literally pour flesh and blood in the otherwise footage on celluloid or on a tape. Each film or a video is a fresh challenge.
With gadgets and systems like FCP or Avid combined with Smoke or Flame the editor can create a virtual new reality. The school will encourage the students to have as much working experience as students demand. After the first module, promising students will be allotted paid assignments to work on live projects.
To create fine tuned editors from raw students the school will provide interaction with professionals from Editing, Sound, Music, and experts from field of VFX. You’ll also learn the power of storytelling through screen grammar, the cut, and the use of effects and transitions. Acting – Anchoring – VJ -RJ Course :
Acting is about expressing the inner soul of the character with the help of facial expressions, dialogues, associated music, costumes and property.
It’s actually a two tier process, first an actor needs to understand the requirements of a given character and then use the individual strengths in terms of facial expressions, voice modulations, body language to enrich the character to be portrayed in flesh and blood.
Voice is an equally important element in the entire process, and as a gymnast builds and uses his/her body, so does the actor cultivates and tunes in his/her voice. Whether you are a beginner or an enthusiastic amateur, this course will provide range of practices in live/recorded mode.
Throughout the course the balance of teaching progresses from an emphasis on the technical skills that results in performance skills across the media. Certain yogic and other exercises are must for this course.
