Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.
1. Name of the post : Principal in B.B Engineering College

Scale of Pay : Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10,000 with special pay of Rs.3000/- PM
Age : 45 years to 55 years as on 01-01-2013
Educational Qualification : B.E / B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech. in Engg. / Technology with 1st Class Degree of B.E/B.Tech. or M.E/M.Tech. level with Ph.D. Degree in Engineering. Highly desirable in post Ph.D publication and guiding Ph.D candidates.
3. Name of the post :Junior Engineer (Civil) under Irrigation Department
No. of post : 125
Scale of Pay : Rs.12,000/- to Rs.40,000/- (PB-4) with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- plus other allowances
Age : 21 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2013
Educational Qualification : A candidate must pass B.E Degree in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICITE.
4. Name of the post : Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Irrigation Department
No. of post : 133
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 to Rs.20.200/- (PB-2) with Grade pay of Rs.3300/- plus other allowance
Age :18 years to 21 years as on 01-01-2013
Educational Qualification : A candidate must pass 3(three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICITE.
