All India Post Graduate Entrance Test (SSAHE – AIPGET – 2014) is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility, for admission of students to PG Degree / Diploma courses in Medical and PG degree courses in Dental subjects in the constituent colleges of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE) for the academic year 2014-15. The admission will be made on the merit basis determined at the entrance test.

Courses offered : Following are the various courses offered in PG Degree / Diploma in Medical and Master Degree in Dental disciplines in the constituent colleges of the Academy for which Entrance Test is conducted.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Following are the minimum requirements for admission to Medical / Dental PG Degree and Diploma courses:
1) The candidate should have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of MBBS/BDS Degrees in colleges recognized by Medical Council/Dental Council of India.
2) The candidate should have completed or is completing compulsory rotating internship on or before 30th April 2014.
3) As per the regulations of statutory bodies, as laid out in Post – Graduate Regulation 2000 of Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post – Graduate courses shall be 50 percent for all candidates and 40% for SC/ST & OBC category as per Govt. of Karnataka regulations.

APPLICATION AND OTHER INFORMATION :
The brochure along with the application form (on-line and offline) is available in the University website. The candidate desirous of appearing in the SSAHE – AIPGET – 2014 is required to complete the prescribed on-line application form & submit the same to the University on-line, on or before the scheduled date 26th December 2013. Further the candidate shall take the printout of the application form and submit along with all enclosures mentioned in the brochure so as to reach the university on or before 2nd January 2014. After scrutinizing the application forms the test admission tickets will be generated and dispatched to candidates taking test as per schedule.

The test is scheduled on 18th January 2014 (Saturday) b/w 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at the centers indicated. The mode of conducting test is explained in the later paragraph. After the evaluation, the merit list of eligible candidates will be announced on the university web site.

The counseling date for selection of seats and admission will be notified on the web soon after. The candidates are informed to observe the university website regularly.

Other Enclosures :
a) Demand Draft for Rs. 3,500/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, SSAHE” Tumkur payble at Tumkur – 572 107, Karnataka State. (Mention your full name on the back of DD) as registration fee (Non- refundable).

b) Four (04) identical recent (taken within one month) colored matt finish, Passport size Photographs with light background are required. Polaroid photographs are NOT acceptable. Photograph must be taken with name of candidate (as in application) and date of taking Photograph as shown below, other wise the application of the candidate will be rejected.

SUBMISSION:
The candidate will not become eligible for attending the entrance test only by On-line / Offline registration. The candidate must ensure that print out of downloaded application along with all enclosures mentioned in the brochure (1.7) reaches the office of the Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education on or before 2nd January 2014 at 5.00 PM. They may be submitted in person, by Speed Post / Courier to the following address:

University is not responsible for any postal delay or loss. The applications without copies of certificates duly attested and incomplete applications will be rejected. There by the candidate loses his chance to take entrance test.
