Applications on good quality plain paper, in the given format are invited from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for filling up posts in Pay Band-I of Rs.5200/- to 20200, Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- (Erstwhile Group ‘D’) categories in West Central Railway.
Name of the post : Trackmen helper, Khalasi, Parcel Porter, Safaiwalas, Asstt. Pointsman etc.
Total Post : 4517
Pay Band & GP : 5200/- to 20200 with GP 1800/-
Age : 18 to 33 years as on 01.01.2014
Essential Qualification : Minimum 10th calss Pass or ITI or equivalent
Stages of Examination :
i) Passing the Written Examination
ii) Physical Efficiency Test
iii) Verification of Documents and Medical Test
Examination Fee : Rs.100/-

ii) The application in the prescribed format may be sent by ordinary post to

iii) candidate should mention “Application for Recruitment in Pay Band-I of Rs.5200 to 20200 Grade Pay of Rs.1800 (Erst while Group ‘D’ posts) West Central Railway” along with community as applicable(i.e. SC/ST/OBC/UR) on the top of the envelope containing the application. Ex-Servicemen Persons should mention “Ex-Servicemen” and Physically handicapped persons should mention “PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CANDIDATE” at the top right of the envelope.
iv) Each cover contain one application only.
