Walk-In-Interview” will be conducted by East Central Railway as mentioned below for engagement of full time General Duty Medical Practitioner/Specialists for various Divisions/Units/Project of East Central Railway. Willing Doctors who fulfill the qualification/eligibility criteria specified below may apply for the above engagement. The engagement will be offered purely on Contract basis for the period up to 13.01.2014 which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis, not extendable beyond 8 years or till the post filled up by regular Doctors selected from UPSC whichever is earlier.

1. Name of the post : General Duty Medical Practitioners (Full Time)
Remuneration: Rs. 39400/- (Thirty Nine Thousand Four Hundread only) per month,

Age limit:- Not exceeding 50 years as on 13.11.2013 for both specialist & General Duty Doctors

ii) Applicant intending to join as Contract Medical Practitioner should apply on prescribed format enclosed alongwith self attested photocopies of following documents and attend the Walkin- interview with original certificates mentioned below;
(a) Proof of age.
(b) Proof of passing MBBS/Internship/PG Degree/Diploma & other educational certificate.
(c) Proof of registration in Indian Medical Council/Medial Council of State..
(d) Proof of caste in case of SC/ST candidate & creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidate– only Central Govt. prescribed format will be accepted.
(e) Mark Sheet(s) of relevant qualification.
(f) 4(four) copies of passport size photograph with self signature.

Applications are invited for the 02 [two] Group ‘C’ posts in PB- (1) Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 against Cultural Quota for Headquarter of East Central Railway, Hajipur in the following discipline;

Name of the Discipline : Kathak Dancer

Age : 18 to 30 years [age will reckoned on 01.01.2014]

Educational Qualification :
[i] Matriculation with 50% marks and its equivalent or Higher Education.
[ii] Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned discipline from Government recognized Institute.

Desirable :
[a] Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
[b] Prizes won at National Level.

Examination Fees : The Examination fee for recruitment against Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’ will be Rs. 40/- (Rs. Forty) through Indian Postal Order only
Indian Postal Order should be pledged in favour of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur

Procedure for recruitment : Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc.

Minimum Qualifying Marks :
(i) In Written Test, the candidate has to obtain at least 40% marks to qualify.
(ii) Amongst the qualified candidates in Written Examination, the candidates equal to five times of the vacancy will be called for as per merit for Practical Demonstration.

(b) Necessary proof for claiming fees exemptions.
(c) Self attested Xerox Copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualification and participation certificate in Cultural Activities for their eligibility as mentioned above.
(d) Self attested Xerox Copy of Caste Certificate in case of SC / ST candidates, For OBC candidates, current non-creamy layer certificate of current year (for Central Government Service) issued by the competent authority should be enclosed.
(e) Three similar recent passport size photographs duly signed. One of them, should be pasted on the application and two photographs are to be attached with the application.
