Western Vocal Training :
Singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, which is often contrasted with speech. Contrary to common thought, air is not expelled with the diaphragm, but is inhaled using the diaphragm and exhaled or expelled, using the abdominal and lower pelvic muscles, as with ordinary breathing. The pitch is altered with the vocal chords. With the lips closed, this is called humming.

** A to Z of western vocals (including sight singing)
** Syllabus including western classical breathing exercises
** Focus on Soft rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country, R&B, Soul and other contempory vocals
** Special emphasis on “How to be a performing artist” including minor details like “How to dress for a stage show”
** One hour session per week (every Sunday)
** Maximum 2 students at a time (You may be taught individually also. We form batches only if we are certain that group dynamics will help you)
** All supplementary books and CD’s are provided

No fixed duration. Whenever you are able to complete one grade you can clear the exam and move on to the next.

Fees Structure :
For grade 1 to 3 (or for students not preparing for grade examinations) :
Admission Fees – Rs. 800
Quarterly Fees – Rs. 5700
Monthly Fees – Rs. 2100

For grade 4 and 5 :
Admission Fees – Rs. 800
Quarterly Fees – Rs. 6000
Monthly Fees – Rs. 2300

For grade 6 to 8 :
Admission Fees – Rs. 800
Quarterly Fees – Rs. 6600
Monthly Fees – Rs. 2500

Rules & Regulations :
01. Admission Fee and monthly fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.
02. In case a student cancels or misses a lesson or more, the student will be marked absent. However if the class is cancelled due to absence of the trainer then the school will reschedule the class.
03. If a student leaves the school or takes a break from the school after finishing his classes his registration will remain valid for 3 months from the last class taken. Thus if the student rejoins within 3 months he or she does not need to pay admission fees again however a rejoining fees of Rs. 300 will be applicable.
04. Students pursuing additional disciplines are not required to pay any additional admission charges.
05. Students may avail twice a week classes on payment of double the monthly fee. Such students will be eligible to a Discount of Rs. 400/- on the total monthly fee.
06. Students who fail to deposit the fee on time will not be allowed to attend the classes.
07. Any classes missed due to late payment of fee will not be made up by the school.
08. All changes and queries related to extra lessons, timetables, payments, holidays, attendance, etc. have to be communicated to the school office only. Teachers will not be able to help you on these issues.
09. School will remain closed on all National Holidays and other prescribed holidays. The school will not make up classes falling on these days. Please refer to list of holidays.
10. The school will provide all study material. However, students appearing for examination under any examining board are required to purchase original copy of the examination pieces.
11. Students are required to possess an instrument of the recommended quality for all instrumental studies.
12. Students appearing for exams are required to submit extra Examination fee. This fee is forwarded to the representative of the concerned Examination Board (amount will vary depending on the examination Board and Grade). This fee is not included in student’s tuition fee or in any Charges paid by the student to the school. Parents may collect the receipt of such exam fee from the school office after one month of payment of fee.

You will be doing breathing exercises, ear training and vocal exercises. Along with this you will also be given intense training on music theory. It will help you to learn, perform, compose, teach and study with equal intensity because nothing less would suffice. We will be providing you with the reference material like workbooks and CD’s free of cost which will help you in practicing at home. You will be evaluated after each level and given certificates on the successful completion of the level.
