The written examination for the post of Assistant Professor will be conducted on January 19, 2014.
The candidates are required to download the admit cards from the University website www.dce.edu. No separate admit cards will be sent to the candidates by post. Mere issue of admit card to a candidate for written examinations does not mean that the candidate is eligible for the post applied for. Their candidature is provisional subject to the condition that the University shall take the exercise of verifications of their eligibility at the time of interview.
The written test will be conducted on January 19, 2013 (Sunday). The departmental presentation and personal interview will be conducted on a later date, for which the shortlisted candidates will be informed separately.

4. On the day of examination candidates are advised to reach the examination centre at Delhi Technological University, Bawana Road, Delhi-110 042 latest by 9.00 a.m. Reporting time for the written test is 9 AM at DTU Delhi.
5. No candidate will be admitted to examination Hall after 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination. The candidate will be allowed to enter into the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.
6. All the candidates are required to bring with them a duly filled admit card (in duplicate) at the time of written test. The proforma for which is being sent in the mail and is also available on website of the University.
7. The candidate must bring their photo Identity proof for appearing in the written test.
8. The seating plans displayed at the ENTRANCE GATE is likely to be in different blocks and hence , the candidates should see the seating plan well in advance and occupy their seats 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
9. There will be 90 multiple choice questions with four options in each question.
10. Each correct answer will be awarded 4-marks. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No deduction will be made if a candidate does not attempt the question. Over-writing will lead to negative marking.
11. For Engineering disciplines questions shall be based on UG level curriculum followed in respective disciplines in Indian Universities for Applied Physics and Humanities the questions will be based on CSIR/UGC/NET/JRF syllabus.
