Applications are invited from the eligible candidates of Himachal Pradesh on or before 02.11.2013 for the selection of candidates for the posts of Patwaris on contract basis.

Essen tial Educational Qualification :
(a) Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University.
(b) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age : Age between 18 and 45 years may be read as age Between 18 and 45 years as on 1.1.2013.

Candidate fulfilling above conditions may submit his/her application on the prescribed performs to the concerned Deputy Commissioners alongwith the following documents :-
(a) Demand Draft of Rs.200/-for General Category Candidates and Rs.100/-for SC/ST Candidates in favour of concerned Deputy Commissioner.
(b) One self addressed envelope duly stamped .

The syllabus for examination will be of 10th (Matriculation) level containing Arithmetic. English. Hindi and General Knowledge.

Candidates are advised to send the application for selection of Patwari candidates to the Deputy Commissioners where they want to appear for examination, instead of applying to the Directorate of Land Records.
