Inclusive Innovations-2013 :
Our Objectives :
** Creation of a platform in India for visionary Innovators, Industrial Houses, Venture Capitalists, Angle investors, Govt. policy makers, Scientists and Technocrats to discuss innovations, especially aimed at the bottom of the pyramid, with regards to funding and further technology development possibilities.
** Provide a unique platform to grass-root innovators to showcase their innovations to masses and directly tap into market and potential customers.
** Ensure that the deserving innovations are taken up by leading industrial houses for further development and commercialization.
** Showcase capability of Indians to ‘innovate under constrains’.
** Promote, gather and felicitate ‘out-of-box’ ideas from masses
** Generate new scientific ideas and concepts relevant for the common people
** Sensitize, encourage & initiate the process of innovative thinking amongst common people
Terms and Conditions :
** The terms mentioned in this document is a valid understanding between you (“Participant”) and Persistent Systems and its Affiliates (“Persistent/ Convention Organizer”).
** Convention Organizer is a sponsor of the event named “BharatOvation” and will be responsible to evaluate the contestants in the competition (“Participants”).
** Mere participation in ‘BharatOvation’ idea competition does not guarantee the participant any assurances about a university level prize or final selection in ‘Inclusive Innovations-2013’ idea/prototype display spot.
** All entries will be subject to a two level scrutiny (one at university & other at inter-university) by a panel of experts in the respective field of idea submission .The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding.
** If shortlisted for showcasing during the convention, the participant will have to bear the cost of prototype building etc. However, the convention organizers will bear the cost of transportation of the prototype & two accompanying persons to and from the convention venue along with stay arrangement expenses for two days of the convention.
** Participants represents and warrants that their idea does not contravene any law including laws under intellectual property rights and their idea are original, unique and innovative.
** Participants understands that their idea or prototype will be evaluated by Convention Organizers and if their idea or prototype is selected by Convention Organizer, then Convention Organizer will enter into an agreement with mutually agreed terms and condition to utilize Participants idea for commercial exploitation and therefore Participants represents and warrants that Convention Organizer will keep Persistent its directors, employees and agents against any claim, damage or loss, expenses however sustained including attorney’s fees that Persistent may suffer or incur (“Claim”), if the information, design, schematics etc, with respect to the idea are infringing in nature or misappropriates any intellectual property right granted under law to any third party or is declared unlawful by any Government authority. If Participants fails to indemnify Convention Organizer against such Claim, Convention Organizer will at its discretion along with any other rights available under law, to compensate itself against such Claim, exercise its right in the IP and title in the idea or prototype without any demur from Participants.
** Convention Organizer assumes no liability for any defects or bugs in the portal and disclaims any warranty either implied or statutory and use of the portal shall be at the sole risk of Participants.
** Participants understand and agree that acceptance of this terms will be validly held against Participant for any breach thereof.
