About us :
Chennai, South’s first City is one of India’s “Big Fours” with a population of more than 5 millions. It covers an area of 130 Sq. Kms. taking in about 15 Kms of coastline – much of which is a wide, sandy beach, the second largest in the World and about 9 Kms at its widest.
Chennai, the “City of Magnificent Distances” is virtually trisected by the Cooum River in the North and Adyar in the South, while the Buckingham Canal runs parallel to the East coast line almost through its length.
Greater Chennai of today is no longer the “City alone” and has grown far and wide to embrace Ennore in the North, Tambaram in the South and Avadi in the West. For all its modernity, Chennai retains its fascinating historical past and traditional hospitality of the South.
