Applications are invited from interested candidates for the post of Laboratory Technical Assistants at IISER Thiruvananthapuram
Name of the post : Laboratory Technical Assistant
Age limit: Below 35 years.
Number of positions : 04 nos – 03 (UR) , 01 (OBC)
Remuneration : Rs. 15, 000/- (consolidated per month)
Qualification and experience: First class in MSc (Biology) with one year (preferably more) of research experience in Academic/Research Institutions or B Tech/B.E in Instrumentation or Electronics or Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics with one year experience.
Job Profile: Assisting undergraduate students in Biology laboratory courses, day-to-day laboratory maintenance, organizing lab essentials in the undergraduate and research laboratories etc
Terms of employment:
i) The positions are purely on short term temporary contract basis.
ii) Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately ie within one week.
