Applications are invited for the following post purely on temporary basis for CENTRE FOR IC&SR, IIT MADRAS, CHENNAI – 600 036.

Designation : Chartered Accountant
No. of post : 2 (Two)
Salary : Rs. 40,000/- per month
Responsible for : Project Accounts & Purchase
Duration: One year and likely to be extended for a further period.

Qualification & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant – Freshers can also apply.

General Requirements :
1. Lead and coordinate IC & SR Project Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Funds Management and Computerization activities of IC & SR.
2. Ensure all accounts and financial statements are up to date, reconciled and maintained in accordance with standard accounting practices and local government regulations.
3. Liaising with faculty and students community for processing the bills and ensuring timely processing bf payments adhering to the Institute rules and regulations.
4. Knowledge of foreign exchange operations for import payments through wire transfer, Letter of Credits etc .,
