All up and coming Trainee, Assistant, and Fast Track Subsea Engineers can enhance their knowledge and productivity with this extensive training program. For operations about to change crews, this course provides an excellent opportunity to train replacements in the correct way to conduct subsea business. It allows trainees to learn not just what must be done but the reasons why as well.
Basic Multiplex (MUX) Control Course :
The basic MUX control course is recommended for anyone who works with MUX control systems or who must budget for these systems. It covers the operation of systems made by major manufacturers such as Cameron, Hydril, and NOV. It also includes information on maintenance, industry requirements, and electronic troubleshooting so that electronic components of hydraulic systems can be eliminated as problem sources.
Senior Subsea Training Course :
If you are a Subsea Engineer with more than 2 years’ experience who wants to enhance your existing knowledge base and increase your productivity, this course is just what you need.
The course extensively covers all equipment related to well control, such as blowout preventers, control systems (conventional and MUX), tensioning systems, and manifolds. The focal points of the training are the operation and maintenance of equipment as a whole according to industry standards. This course will enable participants to later share what they have learned, knowledge vital from financial, environment, productivity, and safety perspectives.
Surface Blowout Prevention Equipment :
This course is designed for Drilling Supervisors, Mechanics, and Drill Crews who operate and maintain well control equipment on jack-ups and land rigs. This is the perfect opportunity for these employees to increase their understanding and comfort level with this important equipment that can save lives and other equipment when handled properly.
The course covers operation, maintenance, and requirements of ram preventers, annular preventers, manifolds, control systems, and other vital surface blowout prevention equipment. This is an intense, multiexercise course which requires a pass rate of 75%. A distance learning option allows you 6 months to complete the final exam.
Subsea Blowout Prevention Equipment :
This course was originally developed for company representatives (Operators, Contractors, and Service Providers) on drilling units to give them a better understanding of well-control equipment. However, Rig Managers, Maintenance, and Drilling Supervisors can also greatly benefit from completing this training.
Like the surface equipment course, this course covers operation, maintenance, and requirements of ram preventers, annular preventers, manifolds, control systems, and other vital subsea blowout prevention equipment. This is an intense, multiexercise course which requires a pass rate of 75%. A distance learning option allows you 6 months to complete the final exam.
