The list of qualified candidates is displayed in the Notice boards of the Office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Van Sadan, Haddo, Office of the Chief Conservator of Forests, (CZ, FC), Chatham, Port Blair and Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Mill Division, Chatham.
Physical standard measurement for the candidates who have been declared qualified in the written test for the post of Forest Guard held on 27/10/2013 in various centre’s will be held on 19/12/2013 in the premises of Office of the Working Plan in Chatham & Physical endurance test of 25 Kms walk for male, 14 Kms for female candidates will be held on 20/12/2013 from 0600Hrs at Chidyatapu, South Andaman. Admission cards for appearing in the Physical Endurance test and Personal Interview are being sent by post to all the above candidates who have qualified the written test. No candidate without admission card will be allowed to appear in the physical endurance test and personal interview. For any enquiry, related to issue of admission card and non receipt of admit cards by 16th December, 2013, the applicants may contact the Office of the Chief Conservator of Forests (CZ,FC) Chatham, during office hours of any working day between 0900 hrs. to 1630 hrs. from 17th December, 2013.
All the qualified candidates are hereby directed to report at the office of the Deputy Director, Biological Park, Chidyatapu to attend the physical endurance test and physical measurement on the date and time given below without fail.

Failing to report for the physical endurance test and physical standard measurement at the venue, date and reporting time fixed shall lead to cancellation of the candidature of such candidates.
The number of candidates summoned for physical endurance test and physical standard measurement. is about thrice the number of vacancies to be filled. Those who qualify in the physical endurance test and having prescribed physical measurement only will be called for the personal interview.
The object of the interview is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career. The test is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. The Candidates will be asked questions on matters of general interest. In broad terms this is really an assessment of not only his intellectual qualities but also social traits and his interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, balance of judgement and depth of interest, intellectual and moral integrity. The technique of the interview is not that of a strict cross-examination but of a natural, though directed and purposive conversation which is intended to reveal the mental and moral qualities of the candidate. The interview marks will be of 25 (with no minimum qualifying marks) Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the written part as well as interview would determine their final ranking.
Schedule for Personal interview for those who qualify in the physical endurance test and physical measurement .

Reporting Time : 0900 hrs onwards.
Venue: Office of the Chief Conservator of Forests (CZ,FC), Chatham
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the physical endurance test, physical standard measurement and personal interview.
If the selection process is not conducted on any of the above prescribed date due to unforeseen reasons, it will be conducted preferably on the next day or any other convenient date. No separate notice will be issued in this regard. All the procedures for the recruitment of Forest Guard will be binding upon the candidates.
The candidates found using or attempting to use any unfair means during the physical endurance test, physical standard measurement and personal interview shall render them liable for disqualification.
Candidates must abide by the instructions that will be given during the physical endurance test. In case of any type of misconduct by the candidates, which violates the smooth conduct of physical endurance test and physical standard measurement appropriate action including canceling his/her, candidature will be initiated.
