HABC- Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
This qualification is aimed at learners already working or preparing to work in industry that is identified within the Company’s risk assessment of First Aid as being lower risk. Learners gaining this qualification will know that First Aid is the responsibility of everyone involved in the working environment.
This qualification is assessed through practical and oral questioning through the duration the course by the tutor. Learners must practically demonstrate the application of the correct techniques in all the First Aid areas indicated within the learning outcomes of the unit.
Successful learners will also receive a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification.
This qualification lasts for a period of 3 years, after which point learners will need to resit the course.

HABC-Level 2 Award in Fire Safety
The HABC Level 2 Award in Fire Safety has been accredited by the regulators of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
The Level 2 Award in Managing Fire Safety is a qualification aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Persons gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of a fire in any premises.
This qualification is assessed through a 30-question multiple-choice question examination. The duration of the examination is 1 hour. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 20 out of 30.
