Entering Student Scholarships and Need Based Grants :
Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music (SAM) recognizes the need to reward outstanding student applicants with financial incentives to enable them to study at SAM and bring credit to the institution and themselves.

Applicants for Merit Scholarships and Need Based Grants only need to fill out the general Diploma Program application form in which they will be asked to specify which of the two they are applying for. In the case of Merit Scholarships applications, the Scholarships committee will determine which among the announced scholarships the applicants qualify for, and award them appropriately. Students who apply for Merit Scholarships must produce a demo as per demo guidelines. Students who apply for Need Based Grants do not need to produce any demos although it might help their chances if the committee gets to hear their music. All Scholarships and Need Based Grants will only be in the form of Tuition Credit.

SAM students who are not currently enrolled but have attended earlier semesters are also eligible to apply for Entering Students Scholarships and Need Based Grants.

Here are the various Merit Scholarships and Need Based Grants available to Entering Students

Merit Scholarships :
Please note that Scholarship amounts are variable and depend on the number and quality of applications and funds available for disbursal. Scholarship amounts for all other merit scholarships and need based grants will be decided only after all scholarship applications are processed. While we would do everything possible to make as many of these scholarships available to applying students as possible, the college reserves the right to not award any of the merit scholarships or need based grants should the Scholarships committee determine that there are no deserving students in the particular categories.
