Nirav Modi Scholarship for Excellence :
Nirav Modi Foundation launched its prestigious “Nirav Modi Scholarship for Excellence” primarily to support academically bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds. It does not just support students financially but also undertakes variety of activities to nurture their talents and to enhance their personality.

“Nirav Modi Scholarship for Excellence” provides opportunities to students having proven bright academic performance throughout their school education to pursue their higher education in competitive fields of Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, and Chartered Accountancy. This scholarship helps students having sheer talent and perseverance only to achieve their dreams of becoming true change agents in the society.

Our flagship programme Nirav Modi Scholarship Program identifies and assists exceptionally talented children from socioeconomically challenged backgrounds.

We aim to support and mentor these children until they secure their futures, financially and socially.

Furthermore, we aspire to nurture a sense of social awareness in these scholars so that they may act as leaders, change agents and mentors for their respective communities.

What do we do ?
Select exceptionally talented children who face social and economical barriers in pursuing further education and a career path.

Identify and cater to the individual needs of the child. These would include :
Financial support is provided after need assessment is done.
Non-financial support (e.g. career and other counseling, mentoring, leadership development, etc.)

Award each child with sponsorship on an annual basis where renewal is dependent on continued academic performance and financial need.

Ensure that the child and his/her family are engaged equally with the Foundation in every step of the process so that their interests, views and wishes are fully respected and all decisions are made in participatory manner.

Who is eligible ?
** Any student who wish to puruse his/her post SSC studies in the field of Engineering, Medicine or Architecture in Maharashtra.
** Any student who has secured admission to any government Medical/Engineering or Architecture College in Maharashtra

Merit :
The candidate should display academic excellence.

Academic :
** If applying for Std XI/XII, Candidates should have secured 90% or above (Aggregate) in their 10th Standard Board exam.
** If applying after Junior College, candidates should have secured 90% or above in any State or National level competitive entrance test

Need :
Candidate’s gross family income should not exceed INR 20,000 per month.

Any child, irrespective of caste, community, gender and religion is eligible and will be assessed solely on the above criteria.

The criteria may be revised going forward.

Eligibility Criteria :
1.If you have scored above 90% in 9th std or
2.If you are recipient of std VII scholarship And
3.If you family income is less than Rs. 20,000/- p.m. And
4. If you have desire to become an engineer or a doctor from government institute.
