Eligibility : A pass in any Bachelor Degree of this University or a Bachelor degree recognised as equivalent there to. The candidate should be below 25 years of age as on 1st July of the Academic Year in which admission is sought. Should be physically fit for daily heay load of exercises. Relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates & Sports stars in AIU approved Games/Sports (only 3 years performance be considered for relaxation (should be unmarried)

How to Apply :
1. Applications are to be submitted on line through the Calicut University Website from 07.06.2014 to 26.06.2014, 5 P.M. through Calicut University Website
2.Signed print out of applications bearing Passport size Photograph attested by the Gazetted Officer along with
(i) the original chalan receipt for having remitted the fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates on the basis of valid community certificate issued by the competent authority) to Calicut University Funds at Calicut University fee counter/Calicut University Janasevanakendra/Aksahaya Centres/through SBT e-payment/online Banking (SBT)
(ii) attested copies of certificates as proof of qualifications, age and community should be forwarded to the Head of the Department/Co-ordinator/Director as the case may be as mentioned in the 6th column of the Notification so as to reach on or before 5 P.M on 28.06.2014.
3.The online Registration I.D.No. should be written by the candidate on reverse side of the chalan receipt/DD as the case may be. This I.D.No should also be mentioned by the candidate in all future communications.
4.Those who are awaiting the results of the qualifying examination can also apply. They have to submit the copies of Marklist to the Head/Director/ Co-ordinator, as the case may be, within 6 days of the publication of Calicut University/Government Examination Results in order to finalise the Rank list in stipulated time.
5.The Heads/Co-ordinators are authorized to conduct Entrance and admissions as per rules and allot students to affiliated colleges/Centres. The dates for entrance examination will be fixed and announced by the by the Heads/Co-cordinators concerned.
6.The Heads/Directors/Co-ordinators are authorized to conduct Entrance and admissions as per rules and allot students to affiliated colleges by 10.08.2014. A copy of the rank list and allotment list shall be forwarded to the Director,Directorate of Admissions, Tagore Niketan, University of Calicut.
7. Allotment to the affiliated colleges shall be made to fill the merit seat.
