B.E./B.TECH/B.ARCH. ADMISSIONS – 2014 :
Applying to Professional Courses (B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch) Admissions 2014 under management quota does not confer on the person the right of eligibility for admission to any of the Professional Courses. The decision on the eligibility of the candidates for admission to a course entirely rests with the respective authorities.

Minimum Eligibility Marks for B.E. / B.Tech :
Qualifying Examinations and Eligibility :
A Pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as given below.

Qualifying Examination and Eligibility for B. ARCH :
No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he / she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level.
or
10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.
or
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
All admissions to Architecture degree course shall be subject to passing of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.

GUIDELINES TO FILL THE APPLICATION :
Candidates desirous of applying Professional Courses (B.E / B.Tech /B.Arch) Admissions 2014 to the Consortium should file their application in the prescribed format through any of the following two modes:
1. In the prescribed application format by registered post with acknowledgement due only.
2. Online direct mode

A. IN THE PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORMAT BY POST.
You are provided with application form along with the cover for posting.
(i) The candidates have to fill in the application form (Data Sheet) given along with the information brochure.

(ii) The completed application form (Data Sheet) along with the scruitinising, processing and ranking fees (Refer Table – 1 for fee particulars) in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of “Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu” payable at chennai with all enclosures should reach the following address on or before 5.00 p.m. on 16.07.2014 through speed post / registered post with acknowledegment due only.

B. ONLINE DIRECT MODE.
Candidates residing outside Tamilnadu and who could not reach the application distribution centre to file applications, may opt for this mode. The procedure is as follows:
(i) Go to any internet browsing centre
(ii) Log on to http://www.tnsfconsortium.org/index.htm
(iii) Read the instructions thoroughly by downloading the Professional courses (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch) Admissions -2014 Information Brochure and follow the steps.
(iv) For online registration of your application click on B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch Admissions 2014 online application.
(v) Open the application format and type the required data. Verify whether all data are correctly entered.
(vi) Submit the application by clicking the submit button at the bottom of the application format
(vii) After a short time, your filled in application along with an application number will appear on the monitor screen. By clicking the print button take printout of this application on a A4 size standard copier paper.
(viii) Affix your recently taken passport size colour photograph in the application in the space provided for this purpose.
(ix) Affix your signature in the application at the space provided for this purpose.
(x) The completed application along with the scruitinising, processing and ranking fees (Refer Table -1 for Fee particulars) in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of “Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu” payable at Chennai with all enclosures should reach the following address on or before 5.00 pm. on 16.07.2014 through speed post / registered post with ackonwlegement due
