ENTRANCE TEST FOR AGRICULTURE / SEED TECHNOLOGY POLYTECHNIC PASSED CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO B.Sc. (Ag) Course During: 2014-15

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University invites applications from Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into four years B.Sc. (Ag.) Degree Programme for the academic year 2014 -15.

ELIGIBILITY: A pass in Agriculture / Seed Technology Diploma Courses from ANGRAU (Those who are going to complete in 2013-14 academic year can also apply).

AGE LIMIT: The candidates shall be required to have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of S.C, S.T and 27 years in respect of PH candidates.

TOTAL SEATS: 105 seats in B.Sc. (Ag) (95 for Agricultural Diploma students + 10 for Seed Technology Diploma Students)

SYLLABUS: Syllabus covered in Agriculture Diploma / Seed Technology Diploma (New Syllabus)

Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservations of ANGRAU based on merit through the Entrance examination in Telugu language (objective type) to be conducted at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030 for Telangana region polytechnic students and Agricultural college, Bapatla, Guntur District – 522101 for Seema Andhra region polytechnic students on 06-07-2014 Sunday from 10.00 AM to 11.30AM.

Interested candidates may apply for admission on prescribed format given below along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- ( Rupees Three Hundred only) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/ – ( Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) in case of SC , ST & PH candidates drawn in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU, payable at Hyderabad.

Application, complete in all respects along with 2 self addressed envelopes with 5 rupees stamp affixed must reach by 21-6-2014, in person or by post to Convener, AGRICET – 2014, Department of Agricultural Economics, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030.

Hall ticket will be dispatched to the candidate by post

ISSUE OF HALL TICKETS WITH LATE FEE :
** Students will be issued Hall Ticket in person from 23.06.2014 to 28.06.2014 on submission of application form to Convenor along with all enclosures and a D.D of Rs. 600/- for General candidates and Rs.300/- for S.C, S.T and PH candidates drawn in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU.
** No Hall Ticket will be issued from 29-06-2014 onwards.
** The list of eligible candidates along with the hall tickets numbers will be displayed in the University website on 30-06-2014. Those students who have not received the hall tickets can however down load the hall ticket from the university website and can attend the examination.
** Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. University will not be responsible for any postal delay.

List of Enclosures:
1. Proof of Age.
2. Attested copy of the marks statement of 10th Standard and Diploma Course.
3. Latest Character Certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended indicating that he /she has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period and never been fined or punished
4. Latest Caste Certificate (In case of SC/ST/BC’s)
5. Two Self addressed envelopes with Rs. 5/- postal stamps (For sending the Hall Ticket and Rank Card).
6. Three Passport size photographs pasted on the application form
7. Demand Draft bearing No., Date for Rs.300 /- (Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/PH) drawn in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU payable at Hyderabad.
8. The filled in form should be sent by 21-06-2014 to Convenor, AGRICET – 2014, Department of Agricultural Economics, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030.
