KSCSTE invites application for Research fellowship for the year 2013-14
Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment invites application for KSCSTE research fellowship from MSc/MTech degree holders from any of the Universities in Kerala. There will be 7 subject areas as listed and their syllabi are attached below
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Life Sciences
Environmental Sciences
Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
Engineering Sciences
The student can choose any of the 7 subjects for writing the Entrance Examination. The syllabus for each subject area can be downloaded from the links provided above. If qualified, the student has the right to choose any other subject area for doing research leading to Ph.D.
Eligibility :
Candidates should have awarded M.Sc/M.Tech degree in the current year (2013) or previous two years (2011 or 2012)
Candidates should be one of the first 10 rank/position holders from any of the Universities of Kerala. They have to produce rank certificate or position certificate from the University at the time of applying.
Age should not be more than 35 years as on 1st January.
Mode of Selection :
There will be objective type Entrance test and the shortlisted candidates will have an Interview on the same day or the following day. The entrance test carries two papers. Paper A will be general paper and is common to all. Paper B will be based on their topic in one of the 7 subject areas.
Date and Venue of Entrance Examination : 8 December 2013 at Kendriya Vidyala Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram
Duration of the fellowship : The fellowship is for a period of three years.
Fellowship Grant :
The fellowship carries a monthly stipend of Rs. 16,000/- for the first two years and Rs. 18,000/- pm, HRA and an annual contingency of Rs.20000/-.

How do we appear for the exam? Is there a hall ticket or any other type of identification required? How do we get the hall ticket?
