Applications are invited for engagement of one Sunior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Project Assistant in the project “Development of National Database on Mango (Second Phase of Development of Genetic Resources Database and Information System for Mango)”. The appointment will be purely temporary under contractual basis following the prescribed procedure till 31st March, 2014 and likely to be continued until existence of the project. The appointment may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The candidates possessing required qualifications given below may appear before the selection committee at Regional Fruit Research Station, Vengurle, Dist. Sindhudurg 416 516, Maharashtra.

Age limit : The maximum age limit will be 33 year for the candidate from open category and 38 years for the candidates from reserve categories.
Terms and Conditions :
1. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project
2. There is no provision for absorption/re-employment in Dr. B.S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli after completion of time bound project.
3. Place of work will be Regional Fruit Research Station, Vengurle, Dist. Sindhudurg. Albeit the candidates selected will have to take technical excursions any where in the university jurisdiction as and when instructed by the Project Investigator.
4. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. The applicants must bring with them original documents and biodata.
6. No objection certificate in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
7. Experience certificate in original (if any).
8. No separate interview call will be issued to candidates.
9. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
10. The candidate will have to give one month advance notice if he/she desires to leave the job failing which he/she will have to surrender one month salary.
11. The selected candidate will be required to give an undertaking in the prescribed format on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-.

It is proposed to fill up following temporary and time bound positions on contract basis under the “Crop surveillance and Advisory project CROPSAP 2013-14 for mango” on the basis of walk in interview. Qualification :
i) Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty of statutory University
ii) Typewriting minimum speed English 40 WPM and Marathi 30 WPM and Good computer knowledge, MSCIT course completed.
