ALL INDIA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (AICET) MDS – 2014 – CHHATTISGARH :
For admission in MDS course in Management Quota seats in (i) Chhattisgarh Dental College and Research Institute, Rajnandgaon (ii) Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research, Kohka, Bhilai Durg (C.G.) (iii) Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre, Anjora, Durg & (iv) New Horizon Dental College & Research Institute, Bilaspur, (v) Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, Hospital and Research Centre, Bilaspur.

PREAMBLE :
The Brochure for AICET MDS – 2014 contains application form for the Common Entrance Test for PG. It also contains rules for admission and information about college & these rules are applicable only for the academic year 2014-15.

ADMISSION COMMITTEE
AICET MDS – 2014 shall be conducted under the Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Chhattisgarh. The Admission Committee for conducting the process will comprise of:

e. Dr. Vishal Jain

CONDUCT OF COMMON ENTRANCE TEST AICET MDS – 2014 :
Candidates should go through the contents of this brochure carefully and for any clarification and genuine doubts / difficulties, approach the admission committee. Further information if any required about the entrance test, will be uploaded and published regularly on the website of college i.e. (i) www.cdcri.org , (ii) mes_durg.org & (iii) www.rungtacolleges.com & (iv) www.nhdcri.in, (v) http://www.trivenidentals.com/. If due to unforeseen circumstances during the conduct of AICET MDS – 2014 at the centres and in the contingencies like incidence of mass copying, leakage of Question paper, entrance of unauthorized persons in the examination centre/hall natural calamities, riots, etc. the admission committee may cancel the examination such cancelled examination would be re-conducted on a later date at the earliest which shall further notify on the website the fresh programme for conduct of AICET MDS – 2014.

AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORM AND BROCHURE :
Application forms for entrance examination will be available at the College on payment of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand only) through Cash / Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Chhattisgarh”, payable at Bhilai.

Online Application form is available on website of (i) Chhattisgarh Dental College and Research Institute  , (ii) Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research   (iii) Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre , (iv) New Horizon Dental College & Research Institute  & (v) Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, Hospital and Research Centre and can be filled online from this site. In case the application form has been filled online on the website, then a hard copy of application form shall be submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of “Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Chhattisgarh”, payable at Bhilai.

b. For Any Clarification Please Contact the Admission Committee : Before filling the application form the candidate must familiarize himself/herself with the information given in this brochure and shall satisfy his/her eligibility to appear in the examination. The candidate is required to go through the information brochure carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to the fillingin of the Application Form.

c. Overwriting, cutting, erasing in the application forms may lead to rejection of the form and should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the candidate. (It is advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the formand then fill in the main document.) Candidate should write his/her complete address in the application form for further correspondence. Pin Code should be given in the space provided for Pin Code. Candidates are also advised to keep photocopy of OMR Form in their record.

d. Filled in application Forms complete in all respect (Jain minority candidate shall submit caste certificate from the competent authority) can be submitted to any of the above Colleges in person along with Examination Fee of Rs. 1500/- by CASH / Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Chhattisgarh”, payable at Bhilai. The application is required to be duly returned in the envelope provided along with the Application Form.

e. Incomplete application forms will be rejected.

MODE OF SELECTION :
On the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the AICET MDS – 2014 merit list will be prepared depending upon number of sanctioned seats. Remaining candidate up to a fixed number will be kept in the waiting list. (Students who will secure atleast 50% marks in the AICET MDS – 2014 will be called for counseling).

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
The selection process for the Dental college will done strictly on the basis of merit of AICET MDS – 2014.The allotment to MDS course will be done on the basis of merit of the candidate. The candidate must produce original certificate at the time of admission and three set of attested photocopy of each of the document as per the list given below hereafter. Jain candidate will be given 5% Additional Bonus on total Marks which is applicable only for Jain Minority Institutes.
