‘Superlative Internship Project’ Contest :
Internships are an important career stepping stone and MBA students need to recognize this fact sooner than later. As any MBA student or top business institute will confirm, an internship is a critical step in the process of enhancing the credentials, and landing a full time job. With more students doing internships, employers expect to see them listed on the resumes of potential employees. And, in the weakened global economy, internships are even more important to boosting a candidate’s competitiveness.
In this light the student has to portray his/her skills in real life situations. We are glad to convey you that IMER is organizing ‘Superlative Internship Project’ contest on May 23, 2014. This contest is for the MBA students who have completed their internship projects.
For whom :
MBA 2nd year Students who have completed their internship projects in 2014
Objectives :-
1. To give practical insights to MBA students regarding research.
2. To give an opportunity for students to showcase their internship projects.
3. To help the institutes in promoting research activities among students & society.
Outcomes :-
1. Students can relate the projects to the corporate world / society.
2. Institutes can strengthen long-term relationships within themselves and promote such activities for past/present/future batch of students.
3. Top 3 winners will receive Rs.15000 (1st Prize), Rs.10000 (2nd Prize), and Rs.5000 (3rd Prize). All the Participants will receive certificates.
Reward :
Top 3 winners will receive prizes. Rs.15000 (1st Prize), Rs.10000 (2nd Prize), and Rs.5000 (3rd Prize). All the Participants will receive certificate of participation.
Rules of the Game :
Three (3) best projects from each institute is desirable from various specializations.
** More than 3 participants / projects is appreciated.
** Send the registration forms along with the hard copy of the project report.
** Project report will be returned after the contest.
** Maximum 10 slide presentation.
** 10 min presentation followed by 5 min Q&A.
How to Register :
Project Report should be along with registration form and registration fee of Rs 1000 per participant in the form of Cheque/DD favouring “Director, KLS-IMER, Belgaum”
Registration for the event is open till May 19th, 2014.
Criteria of Judging :
** Uniqueness (Company-wise, Subject-wise, etc) of the Internship assignment.
** Overall quality of the Internship assignment.
** Usefulness of the project to the organization.
** Recognition and appreciation from the organization (Stipend, Job offer, Letter of appreciation, etc.).
** Overall quality of the project report submitted (formatting, tables, charts, etc.).
** Overall quality of the presentation of project report.
Rules & Regulations of the Event :-
1. Three (3) best projects from each institute is desirable. More than 3 participants / projects is appreciated.
2. The names and details of participants should be informed to the event coordinators by calling and mailing.
3. Synopsis (Project title and Summary of the study not exceeding 300 words) should be sent via email.
4. Registration for the event is open till May 19th, 2014.
