Pondicherry University Admissions to PG/Ph.D. Programmes 2014 -15.

Application Registration is a 3 Step process :
Candidates, on their own risk, can apply for more than one course. However, University Entrance Exam Schedule may not completely ensure that there is no “overlap of entrance exams of all the courses to which a candidate has applied”. In case of overlapping, the concerned candidate shall have to opt/choose the course, entrance exam date & session on his/her own. University will not be responsible for such overlapping if the candidate could not take the entrance exam for the particular course(s). (To apply for more than ONE course, repeat Step 1 to 3 for each course) Pre-requisites

Step 1 Self-Registration :
** First time enter as New Candidate
** Read the instructions carefully, accept the Declaration and proceed
** Enter all basic details, verify before clicking on SUBMIT button (Once SUBMIT, one cannot edit any data entered on this page.)
** On submission a unique 6-digit password will be generated and will be sent via e-mail and SMS. Thereafter, login as Registered Candidate using this User-id and 6-digit password. This completes self-registration

Step 2 Payment Process :
Login as Registered Candidate and payment can be made either using:
** Online Payment:
** Using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking
** If successful, a confirmation e-mail and SMS will be sent
** Proceed further with Application Registration

** Challan (Cash) Payment in Indian Bank: Challan will be displayed on the screen (has three portions)
** Print CHALLAN(Printer settings: Paper size A4, Mode – Landscape)
** Fill up and make payment in a convenient Indian Bank branch
** After payment the challan will be returned with the stamp of the bank and a JOURNAL number as acknowledgement
** Candidates need not send the “University Copy” of the challan after payment
** After updation (within the Next Two Business Days), e-mail and SMS confirmation will be sent
** Re-login, after confirmation is received, to continue with Application Registration

Step 3 Application Registration :
** Login with the User-id and password allotted
** Complete the Application Form in all respects using VIEW/MODIFY button
** Ensure that all data entered is accurate, accept a declaration and click on I AGREE
** System will prompt to SUBMIT. Once confirmed, Application Form will get finally SUBMITTED and no change in the data is possible after this SUBMIT
** “Thank you for successfully registering for the Pondicherry University Admissions 2014-15. Please login from 22nd May, 2014 onwards to download Hall Ticket for Entrance Exam” will appear on the screen.

** Click on PREVIEW button to view your filled form
** PRINT filled Application Form (Printer settings: Paper size – A4, Mode – Portrait) and retain a copy for future reference Special Instructions for Defence Personnel A serving Defence Personnel willing to seek admission in Pondicherry University should apply online only.
