Kaun Banega Crorepati Quiz Competition :
“Kaun Banega Crorepati” is a quiz based game show primarily in Hindi language which is being produced by BIG Synergy Media Limited (“Producer”) for initial exhibition on Sony Entertainment Television channel (“Channel”) which channel is owned by Multi Screen Media Private Limited and/or its affiliates.

Procedure To Participate In The Competition :
Level 1 – Individual & Jodi Special :
a) First Round Period :
1 : One Competition question having four multiple choice answer options will be aired each day during the promotions of the Show beginning from May 5, 2014 to May13, 2014 for all BSNL landline telephone and select mobile telephone subscribers (Airtel/ Aircel/ BSNL/ Tata Docomo/ Tata Indicom/ IDEAIDEA/ MTNL Mumbai / Reliance/ Loop Mobile/Videocon/ Vodafone, Virgin Mobile), (excluding any calls made from a public call office (PCO)), internet users registering from the website www.KBCSony.com and users that register using the KBC OFFFICAL application available on iOS, Android and Windows platforms (“First Round Period”) and for the period commencing from May 20, 2014 to May 24, 2014 for all IDEA mobile and IVR subscribers (“First IDEA Pass Round Period”) i.e. a total of nine (9) unique questions will be asked during the First Round Period and a total of five (5) unique questions will be asked during the First IDEA Pass Round Period.

2 : The promotions will be aired inviting all viewers to register for the Competition. The registration lines (telephone, internet, application and SMS acceptance) for each question of the First Round Period and SMS and IVR for IDEA users First IDEA Pass Round Period (telephone and SMS acceptance), shall be open for twenty four (24) hours i.e. beginning from 9 :00:00 PM (IST) to next day 8:59:59 PM (IST) only.

Jodi Special :
1 : One Competition question having four multiple choice answer options will be aired during the promotions of the Show between May 14, 2014 and May 15, 2014 for all BSNL landline telephone and select mobile telephone subscribers, excluding any calls made from a public call office (PCO), including internet users registering from the website www.KBCSony.com and users that register using the KBC Official application available on iOS, Android and Windows platforms (“First Round Period – Jodi Special”) and between May 25, 2014 and May 26, 2014 for all SMS and IVR for IDEA subscribers (telephones and SMS) (“First IDEA Round Period – Jodi Special”) i.e. a total of two (2) unique questions will be asked during the First Round Period – Jodi Special and a total of two (2) unique question will be asked during the First IDEA Round Period – Jodi Special. The promotions will be aired inviting all viewers to register for the Competition. The registration lines (telephone, internet, application and SMS acceptance) for each question of the First Round Period – Jodi Special and First IDEA Round Period – Jodi Special, shall be open for twenty four (24) hours i.e. beginning from 9 :00:00 PM (IST) to next day 8:59:59 PM (IST) only.

2 : The calls and / or registrations using the website www.KBCSony.com and/or using the KBC Official application for iOS / Android / Windows platforms and/or SMS (together referred to as “Entry”) for participating should have been completed on or before closing of the defined timelines in order to be considered as a valid entry (“Valid Entry/ies”).

3 : The cellular/landline number from which the registration is received or has been input by the Registrant(s) will be used as unique identification number received to identify the Registrant. Each Registrant may submit multiple entries. Valid Entries sent each day shall only be considered for the random selection process for that day (a day is defined as a 24 hour period commencing from 9 :00:00 PM to 8:59:59 PM the next day for First Round Period, First IDEA Round Period, First Round Period – Jodi and First IDEA Round Period – Jodi).

4 : To participate in the Competition, the Registrant has to give the correct answer by choosing the correct option and sending the Entry in the manner prescribed in the grid below and as stated in the promotions of the Show : The IVR option is available to IDEA Cellular and BSNL landline subscribers (excluding any calls made from PCO) only.

How to answer through IVR :
First Round Period, First Round Period – Jodi :
a : Call on 5052525-01/02/03/04 in case of BSNL (select circles) landline subscribers (i.e. call 5052525 and 01 for option A, 02 for option B, 03 for option C and 04 for option D). The IVR will welcome the Registrant and asked for preferred language option which is press 1 for English and 2 for Hindi. BSNL landline subscribers in Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab can call on 12555-01/02/03/04 (i.e. call 12555 and 01 for option A, 02 for option B, 03 for option C and 04 for option D).
b : Call on 55456-01/02/03/04 in case of IDEA subscribers (i.e. call 55456 and 01 for option A, 02 for option B, 03 for option C and 04 for option D).
c : The Registrant will be taken through the IVR menu where he will be asked to enter gender (1 for male and 2 for )
d : The Registrant will be asked to enter age in completed years as on May 4, 2014 (for e.g. if a person is 25 years and 11 months old, they will have to enter 25)
e : The call will end with a thank you note / play back option.
f : Thank you message will inform the Registrants if they are selected for the next stage i.e. Level 2 and they will be contacted within five (5) days from time of closure of lines.

Note :
If any of the information requested during the IVR is not provided by the Registrant(s) as per the instructions of IVR within four (4) seconds then the instruction will be repeated once again, after which also if the answer is not received for further four (4) seconds then a termination message will be played and the call will end. If answer is not received in the correct format, or is not from amongst the acceptable answer options, the question will be repeated once again; if an invalid response is received a second time, then a call termination message will be played and the call will end. On answering as per the format, the Registrant will be asked to confirm his/her entry or re-enter his /her response. If a Registrant does not confirm the answer entered by him/her the second time, termination message will be played and the call will end.

1 : Download the KBC Application by sending an SMS KBCAPP to 5252525. SMS Rates : Upto Rs 6/SMS. Available on select operators in select circles.

2 : Download the KBC application from the application stores i.e. iOS, Android and Window platforms. Please note, the application download is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details please contact your service provider/telecom operator.
3 : Participants using the iOS & Windows Applications have to enter their mobile number. The Participants using Android Application will not need to enter their mobile number. On successful registration,the Android Application will send an SMS to the shortcode 5252525 and the mobile number will be captured from this SMS. Please note that MSM will be able to get in touch with the Participant’s only if the mobile number entered by the Participant is registered with the service provider in India. Company is not responsible to verify if the mobile number captured is a valid mobile number.
4 : Participants need to enter the circle (select one of the City/State from the options provided in the Application) that the telephone number you have input belongs to.

1 : Go to the KBC website www.KBCSony.com
2 : The Registrant will be asked to first register on the website, www.KBCSony.com and then asked to choose a username and a password to be able to register for the Show. The Company is not responsible in case the Registrant forgets his / her username / password..
3 : The Registrants shall enter their mobile number. Please note that the Company will be able to get in touch with the registrants only if the mobile number is registered with the service provider in India.
4 : Registrants shall enter the circle (select one of the City/State from the options provided in the Application) that the telephone number belongs to.
5 : Registrants have to enter their age in completed years as on May 4, 2014
6 : Registrants have to choose gender between Male and
