Bowling Tips :
Line and Length :
A simple way of training control of line and length is to put a marker the size of a piece of paper (May be A4) on a good length. Good length for a fast bowler is four walking strides from the crease, down the wicket. Put your marker down on the line of off stump. A Plastic coke bottle with some water or sand in it or a piece of old carpet can br used as a marker. Make sure the line you bowl is generally on middle stump to off stump, try not to bowl down the leg side, as most of those tend to either be hit or called for wides.

Wrist Momentum :
During the run up, do not keep your wrist straight. Instead, keep your wrist facing right upwards. At the time of release, throw the ball with help of wrist; this will add the wrist speed to the existing speed, allowing you to generate a great pace.

The Other Arm :
Apart from the bowling arm, the other arm also plays a vital role. Thrust your arm the opposite your bowling arm fast and forcefully. Your other arm, the throwing arm, will follow just as quick. This means that the ball will travel with more speed.

Rotation of Arm :
Make sure you fully rotate your shoulders on completion of action. If you have a name on your back imagine you are going to show it to the batsman when you finish. This will help you think about how much of a shoulder turn you’re aiming for.

Hips and Nose :
At the point of delivery, your hips and nose will be facing the batsman. If your bowling hip is ‘lazy’ it will lag behind thus dropping your speed. If your nose isn’t facing the batsman, your head is probably falling away. The hips are the powerhouse of your body. Get them in the right position.

Run through :
You should run through at least to one third of the pitch. Once you have bowled make sure you run through at least to one third of the pitch so the ball won’t lose speed when you release it.
