11. General (LM & CP)
Number of vacancies in these categories has increased. So, more candidates are being shortlisted for evaluation of Part-II.

Important Announcements :
** Candidates selected for DV will be issued letters asking them to appear at the office of WBSSC on a specified date with documents
** List of documents to be brought during DV to prove eligibility as per recruitment rules
** If any candidate fails to appear for DV at the appointed time or fails to produce documents to prove eligibility his/her selection will be cancelled and candidates who have not been selected for DV will be called on basis of their rank and category against such vacancy
** SC/ST candidates featuring in both unreserved and reserved categories will get an opportunity to choose whether they will opt to be in the unreserved category or reserved category on basis of likely place of posting during DV
** Fresh candidates on basis of rank will be called up to fill vacancies that result on basis of such choice by SC/ST candidates
** In cases where more than one candidate has secured equal aggregate marks, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods subsequentially:
Marks in Part-II with candidate obtaining more marks has been placed higher
Marks in Group-A of Part-II with candidate obtaining more marks has been placed higher
Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher
Option from Candidates selected for Document Verification (DV) for State Cadre Posting (will be available from 29-4-2014, 4:00 PM onwards)

Hey guys, I was called upon for DV on feb'2015 under general(msp). So when will I be able to know if I made the nomination list. The website states list will be uploaded after DV of remaining short listed candidates. I want to know if I'm selected or not?

I have applied for Food SI-14 as a EC (OBC-B) candidate. But in EC certificate registration date is 10/6/14, which was after the last date of submitting the application form. In dv will they reject me for this reason?
