Directorate of Stationery and Printing :
The Department of Stationery and Printing is one of the oldest departments of the Puducherry Administration. This Department is a service department to meet the printing needs of all the departments, local bodies, public sector undertakings, etc. functioning under the Puducherry Administration. This department shoulders the responsibility of procurement and supply of all types of papers stationery and certain non-paper stationery articles, to all the departments at free of cost.

Procedure For Change Of Name :
Guidelines :
Request to be made to the Director, Stationery and Printing, Puducherry for publishing in Gazette.

Request to be accompanied by following Documents :
(a) Original Affidavit signed in hand of Notary Public.
(b) Attested copy of Ration Card (for resident proof).
(c) Attested copy of Birth Certificate.
(d) Attested copy of any document mention in the affidavit.

(e) Payment of fee as below :
(i) Minimum `135/- (Up to 120 words).
(ii) `11/- for every 10 words in excess of 120 words.

The publication is made within three weeks of submission of request with all the details
