Baat Karo IPL Dekho Challenge 2014 :
This Challenge is sponsored, organized and administered by Idea Cellular Limited, a company having its registered office at Suman Tower, Plot No. 18, Sector – 11, Gandhinagar – 382 011 and its circle office address at Fortuna Towers, 10, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow – 226001,Uttar Pradesh (hereinafter referred to as “Idea”).
This Challenge is purely on a “best effort” basis and participation of eligible Subscribers in this Challenge is voluntary. Idea, reserves the right to participation in this Challenge.
Term/ Period of the Challenge :
This Challenge is open for a limited period only i.e. from 22nd Day of April, 2014 till 30th Day of April, 2014.
Eligibility Criteria :
The Challenge is open for active pre-paid as well as post-paid category of cellular subscribers of Idea, in telecom circle of U.P.(East) only (the “Subscribers”). For the sake of clarity, a “Subscriber /Participant” for the purpose of this Challenge shall mean and include an individual/person, who is the rightful owner/user of the pre-paid or Post-paid mobile connection of Idea, registered in UP (E) telecom circle and in whose name the mobile connection is active and registered as per the records maintained by IDEA Cellular Ltd (and which shall be conclusive). In case a Participant is an employee of a Company and the mobile connection used by him is registered in the name of an employing company, the employee /user can participate the Challenge provided that the employing company issues a letter to this effect certifying that the particular employee/user has been allotted the specific mobile connection, and intended to be used by the employee for participating in the Challenge.
In order to be eligible for this Challenge, a Subscriber/Participant must fulfill the following criteria :
** He/She should be above 18 years of age.
** He/Se must be citizen of India.
** He/She must not have any criminal record nor should be of an unsound mind.
** The employees of Idea and their group companies affiliate or associate companies; are not eligible to participate in this Challenge.
** The postpaid Subscribers with outstanding amount as dues pending and payable to Idea shall not be eligible to participate in this Challenge.
Participation :
** This Challenge is purely on a “best effort” basis and participation of eligible Subscribers in this Challenge is voluntary. To participate in this Challenge, a Subscriber/Participant shall have to fulfill the following criteria-
** The challenge is open for both prepaid and post paid IDEA customers who have subscribed or shall subscribe to roaming pack/STV of Rs. 73 (prepaid) or Rs. 75 (postpaid). The challenge can be attempted as many times as the person wants to during the said period.
Selection of Top Performer(s)/Highest Scorer(s) :
At the end of the challenge period, 2 top performers will get one IPL ticket each to watch IPL, 2014 cricket match in Delhi for which the match date would be communicated to the top performers.
Gratifications :
** The Top Performer shall be declared by Idea, based on the highest outgoing usage while roaming and subscribed with roaming STV/pack as mentioned herein above. The allocation of Gratification to the Top Performer is as under-
** There will be 2 top performers who would get the gratification which is in the form of a ticket to watch IPL, 2014 match in Delhi as already mentioned above.
** It is understood and agreed by the Subscribers that mere participation to this Challenge during the Challenge Period i.e. from 22nd day of April, 2014 till 30th Day of April, 2014, does not entitle the Participant/ Subscriber/s to claim the Gratification. He /she should be a declared Top Performer by Idea in conformity with the terms to claim the Gratification mentioned in clause 4 of this T&C.
Terms & Conditions :
** It is understood and agreed by the participants that the Top Performer shall have to be the rightful owner of the particular mobile phone number/ connection, registered as per the records maintained by IDEA Cellular Ltd (and which shall be conclusive). If the Top Performer is not able to provide sufficient evidence to show that he/she is the rightful owner/user of the particular mobile connection, IDEA reserves the right to award the Gratification to the next eligible Top performer.
** By entering the challenge, the participants confirm and waive the applicability of rules and regulations of the National Do Not Call Registry and also agree to receive promotional messages from Idea, as they may deem fit and proper, at their sole and absolute discretion.
** The participants including the Top Performer understand and agree that any gratification of value in excess of INR Rs. 5,000/-, will attract tax deduction at source and in conformity with the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act 1961 or as applicable under law ,in force from time to time. The successful subscriber will receive the gratification after deduction of all applicable taxes thereon.
** By participating in the Challenge, the Subscriber hereby further understands and agrees that Idea shall at its sole discretion be responsible for inter-alia the selection of the Top Performer and delivery of the Gratification at the mentioned venue .The decision of Idea in this regard shall be final and binding upon the subscriber.
** The Top Performer/s shall be intimated through tele-calling and SMS. The subscribers/Top Performers are required to be vigilant on their part in gathering information regarding the selection of Top Performers and/or for collection of Gratification. As such the subscribers should keep their mobile phones in switched on mode.. It is specifically mentioned that no information by post/courier/fax/telegram or any other mode shall be given by Idea.
** The participant/ Top Performer who has been declared Top Performer and who has won the gratification as per clause 4 of the T&C shall have to make his/her own arrangements for travel, accommodation to claim the Gratifications from Idea’s UP (E) Circle Office situated in Lucknow (the “Idea Cellular Ltd. 10 Fortuna Towers Rana Pratap Marg Opp NBRI Lucknow 226001”). Idea shall not be responsible for the travel arrangements and/or any cost incurred by any of these. Top Performer for the collection of his/her respective Gratification
