LATERAL ENTRY ENTRANCE TEST-2014( LEET-2014) NOTICE FOR ADMISSION To THREE YEARS DIPLOMA COURSES UNDER LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME TO BE ADMITTED DIRECTLY IN THE SECOND YEAR (3rd Semester) FOR THE ADMISSION SESSION-2014-15.

H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshaia is going to conduct Lateral Entry Entrance Test-2014(LEET-2014) on 25.05.2014(Sunday) from 10.00 AM, to 12% Noon for making admission directly in 2th. Year (3rd.Semester) of various diploma courses running in the State Polytechnics (Government & Private) under Lateral Entry Scheme from the admission session 2014-15. In this scheme Himachali Bonofide candidate will be eligible for admission. But in case of availability of vacant seats after the 3rd. round of counseling Non Himachali Candidate will also be eligible for admission.

Eligibility:
(i) Candidates appearing in Lateral Entry Entrance Test-2014 (LEET-2014) should have passed 12th. Science or/12th. Science with Vocational or Science with Technical or 10th, 2year lTl/COE) with appropriate specialization Examination, from the HP. Board of School Education or any other recognized Board/University in India or from any Industrial Training Institution recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) respectively.

(ii) Candidate who has appeared in 12th. Science or/12th. Science with Vocational or Science with Technical Examination in March, 2014 shall also be allowed to appear in the test subject to the condition that he/she will have to attain the aforesaid eligibility condition at the time of counseling which shall be verified by the Central Admission Selection Committee.

The prospectus alongwith necessary enclosures can be obtained w.e.f. 16.04.2014 to 26.04.2014 on cash payment of Rs. 650/- for General Category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates from the following sale centres/lnsitutions:

SALE CENTRES:
(i) Govt. Polytechnic, Sundernagar and Kangra
(ii) Govtv|.T.l. Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Nurpur (Kangra),Shamshi (Kullu), Shimla, JUbbaI, Rampur (Shimla) Nahan (Sirmour), Mandi, Solan and Una.

Candidate can also obtain the Prospectus from the office of the Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala at Dari-176057 between 16.03.2014 to 30.04.2014 on cash payment of Rs. 650/- for General Category and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Candidates can also obtain the prospectus through Registered post by sending Bank Draft of Rs. 700/- (General Category) and Rs 450/- (SC/ST/OBC) drawn in favour of Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala, requesting for the brochure by indicating their complete postal address alongwith contact numbers. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft. The request to get prospectus through Registered post alongwith fee must reach the Board office upto 21.04.2014. Request/Application received after 21.04.2014 for sending prospectus by post will not be entertained.

Note :
1. Candidate shall fill up only single application form for Lateral Entry Entrance Test as well as for admission. The candidate will have to appear for counseling before the Central Admission Selection Committee at Govt Polytechnic, Sundernagar as per schedule fixed in the Part-2 of prospectus. No Separate communication or advertisement shall be made with the candidate for counseling.

2. The candidates are advised not to attach any certificate/document while sending the filled Application Form, This may render the form unscanable.

3. The LEET Application forms may be sent in the envelop provided with the application form by registered post.

THE APPLICATION FORM COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECTS MUST REACH THE BOARD OFFICE by 30.04.2014(5.00P.M.).
