The Home Department, Government of Jharkhand has sanctioned the following Contractual Posts vide its letter no- 10/P.S/01/2012-502 dated-11/01/2013 towards setting up the state level “Cyber Crime Police Station” under the aegis of the-Criminal investigation Department, Jharkhand. Minimum Educational Qualification :
A. Minimum Educational : Bachelor of Engineering in IT, Computer Science or Equivalent form a recognized Institute.
B. Desired Educational: Master Degree in IT (Preferably MCA or equivalent) or equivalent.
C. Minimum Work Experience:- At least 5 years of work experience in a reputed organization IT. Working with/for organization especially in domain of crimes, criminals, intelligence, terrorists, naxal data base involved in a police will be an added advantage. Due weightage will also be given to domain knowledge of criminal justice system, police organization etc.

Minimum Educational Qualification :
A. Minimum Educational : Bachelor of Engineering in IT, Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institute or BCA with stress on information security/information extraction/forensic analyze.
B. Minimum Work Experience:- At least 2 year of work experience in a reputed organization involved in lT. Working with/ for a police organization especially in domain of crimes, criminal, intelligence, terrorist, Naxal data bases will be an added advantage. Due weightage will also be given to domain knowledge of criminal justice system, police organization etc.
Minimum eligibility :
Desirable exposure to technologies and programming experience:
The candidate must have demonstrable skills in programming and sufficient exposure to various technologies and packages. He should be able to provide proof of having developed applications. He should be able to analyze data, write programs/ scripts to extract data/analyze call logs, system logs.
He should have adequate knowledge of hardware to extract information’s from hard disks, network devices routers and other hardware. He should also have working knowledge of mobile phone and other palm held devices/ miniature devices (Like cameras, music players etc.) and means of extracting information from the same.
He should be thoroughly conversant With networking protocols and internet protocols and preferably also have knowledge of wireless technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. An indicative (but neither exhaustive nor exclusive) list of the technologies packages is as follows:-
Operating System: MS-DOS, Windows, Linux including Administration of Windows 2000. Linux
Package: MS-Office, Adobe Studio CS3 (Dreamweaver, Fireworks) or other similar package.
Database: Oracle, SngServer, Access, MYSQL 5.
Language: Visual Basic, C, C++, JAVA
Web technology: ASP, PH P, JSP and other scripting languages/ technologies.
Development Frame Works: cake PHP, Struts or other equivalent technologies.
Web Administration: IIS, apache 2.0, Tomcat.
Web Application: Drupal, Joomla, Postnuke, Word press, Smarty.
Security testing Tool: Burp Proxy, Winhex
