CITEE :
The CITEE is an entrance test conducted by CIT for admission to Diploma course of study in six different branches of engineering in CIT, Kokrajhar, which is affiliated to State Council of Technical Education, Assam.
Eligibility :
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent with a minimum of 45% in the aggregate and 50% of marks for GEN/OBC (45% of marks for ST/SC/PH candidates) in Science, Mathematics (or Advanced Mathematics) and English taken together.
Age limit: The age of the candidates as on 1st August of the year of admission must not exceed the following age limit for different categories- (i) GEN/OBC-19 years; (ii) SC/ST/PH-24 years; (iii) Female Candidates-22 years

CITDEE :
The CITDEE is an entrance test conducted by CIT for admission into the first semester of Degree (B.Tech) programme of study as Direct Entry in six different branches of engineering in CIT, Kokrajhar, which is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam.
Eligibility :
Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Science)or equivalent with a minimum of 45% in the aggregate and 50% of marks for GEN/OBC candidates(45% of marks for St/SC/PH candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
Age limit:
Candidates must not be above 21 years, or below 17 years of age as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit is relaxed to 3 years for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates.

CITLET :
The CITLET is an entrance test conducted by CIT for admission into the third semester of Degree (B.Tech) programme of study as Lateral Entry in six different branches of engineering in CIT, Kokrajhar, which is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam.
Eligibility :
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma in any recognized branch of Engineering/Technology with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA for GE/OBC (relaxed upto 5% for SC/ST/PH) or B.Sc (with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects) with minimum of 55% marks for GE/OBC (relaxed upto 5% for SC/ST/PH)
Age limit:
40 years (45 years for SC/ST/PH and 43 years for OBC and female candidates) as on 1st August of the year of admission.

Date of Entrance Examination : Second Sunday of May
Centres of Entrance Examination :
The Entrance Examination is usually conducted in five different centres at Kokrajhar, Guwahati, Udalguri, Barama and Kajalgaon. (subject to approval of Admission Committee).

Availability of Application Forms :
Normally the Prospectus and Application Forms are available from the following centres (subject to change by Admission Committee) by the first week of February on payment of a certain prescribed fee.

Note: Forms are also usually made available in the Institute website which may be downloaded and submitted accompanied by a Demand Draft of prescribed fee.

Reservation Policy :
In filling up of the available seats, the institute follows the following reservation policy.
60% from BTC (60% ST, 5% SC, 15%OBC and 20% General)
20% from North-East region excluding BTC.
17% from All India excluding North-East Region.
03%for physically handicapped candidates irrespective of region.
The selection of serial no.(ii), (iii) & (iv) will follow the reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC and General as laid down by the Central Government. In case the seats as mentioned in (ii), (iii) & (iv) are not filled up by respective candidates, the seats will be filled up by candidates from the BTAD region.

Online Form Filling Instructions:
Step 1: Register Yourself with the CIT Admission 2014 website with a Valid Email. Here
This Email will be used to Provide you the Username And Password to login to CIT Admission Website.

Step 2: Log On to Your Email account and Check for email.
That Email will contain a PASSWORD which you can use to login to Your New account. Here
Use Your Email and Password To login.

Step 3: Upon Successful Login you will find a form.
Fill Out the Form.
Then click On ‘SAVE AND PREVIEW’

Step 4: This will preview the form before Final Submission.
All the fields Are Mandatory
If any field Is left, The ‘SUBMIT’ button will NOT APPEAR below Edit Button.

Step 5: After Submission of the Form,
Take a Print Out of the Form and Address Slip.
Sign Yourself and Take sign from Your Parent/Guardian’s also at respective Places.

Step 6: Now you will need The following :
** An A4 Envelope.
** A 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
** Rs. 40/- Stamp to be affixed on 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
** Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- (for GEN/OBC) or Rs. 400/- (for SC/ST/PH) drawn from any nationalized bank must be made in favor of
Entrance Examination CIT, Kokrajhar
payable at SBI Balagaon/North Kokrajhar
(Code No. 7379).
** An Unattested Identical Passport Photo (which you have Uploaded During filling Online Form) With Form number written on Its Back.(Do Not STAPLE/GLUE it with FORM)
** Xerox / Photocopy Of the Caste Certificate to which if you belong to.

Step 7: Provide The Demend Draft Details In the Login Area after the form Sumbission.

Step 8: Cut The Address Slip generated into 3 parts.
Paste the Top Part (Part 1) On A4 Envelope.
Paste the Middle Part (Part 2) On 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
Keep The Bottom Part (Part 3) as Check list While enclosing items in A4 Envelope for sending.

Step 9: Enclose All Items in The A4 Envelope
** Signed Application Form.
** A 11cm X 30cm Envelope with Rs. 40/- Stamp affixed.
** Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- (for GEN/OBC) or Rs. 400/- (for SC/ST/PH)
** An Unattested Identical Passport Photo With Form number written on Its Back.(Do Not STAPLE/GLUE it with FORM)
** Xerox / Photocopy Of the Caste Certificate to which if you belong to.

Step 10: After Enclosing All Items in The A4 Envelope
Send The Application.
