KGCE FINE ARTS 2014 :
KERALA GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION IN FINE ARTS JUNE – 2014
The Existing Syllabus of Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts was implemented vide Government Orders read as 1st above from the academic year 1992 onwards. As per reference 4th Government has also pleased to rename it as Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts and Animation. The responsibility for conducting the examination is handover to the Controller of Technical Examinations. As per 5th paper, Government has notified that two more chances will be given to appear for the Examination, to those who had written the Examination in previous years and failed. The last examination in the Old Scheme will be conducted by the Pareekshabhavan during June 2014.

ELIGIBILITY :
Registration for the Examination is restricted only to those who had written the examination but failed in any subject.

EXAMINATION FEE :
Government, as per G.O 2nd cited have revised the rate of examination fee as shown below.
Fee for full course Rs. 400/-
Fee for one paper Rs. 150/-
Fee for Scrutiny per paper Rs. 50/-

The Head of Institution should collect the examination fee as noted above and fee for mark list Rs. 40/- from each candidate and remit the same into the Treasury in the prescribed time as per the programme shown below. Examination fee and fee for mark list should be remitted in the respective Head of Account. Both Chalan receipts should be forwarded along with other documents.

All the candidates except students belonging to SC/ST, Kudumbies and X’ian converts from among them, should remit examination fees. Students who are exempted from payment of fees are eligible to appear for only two chances, provided that the second chance should be within a period of 3 years from the first appearance. In the case of fees exempted categories, the Head of Institutions should furnish a certificate to the effect that this is the First/Second appearance of the candidate, in their application.
