The Diploma Prospectus is for admission to all Diploma Courses, Diploma (Engineering) Lateral Entry Courses and Diploma (Pharmacy) Course for the Academic Year 2014-2015. Its contents are subject to change without prior notice.

Admissions for Diploma (Engineering & Hotel Management) including candidates under TFW scheme shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit of Diploma Entrance Test (DET) and admissions for Diploma (Engineering) Lateral Entry shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit of Lateral Entry Diploma Entrance Test (DET-L) through On-line Off-Campus counseling conducted by NIC from the session 2014-15 onwards.

DET/DET (L) is mandatory for admission to Diploma Courses (except Diploma in Pharmacy) for the session 2014- 15.

For the session 2014-15, Diploma Entrance Test (DET) shall be conducted off-line i.e. in paper pencil mode and Lateral Entry Diploma Entrance Test (DET-L) shall be conducted online

Applications for appearing in both entrance tests i.e. DET & DET-L shall be invited online and the entrance test fee for the purpose shall also be charged online through https://onlinetesthry.gov.in/.

Admission to following course/categories shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit prepared on the basis of %age of qualifying exam through On-line Off-Campus counseling by NIC:
I. Diploma Pharmacy
II. HGST and KM categories candidate of Diploma (Engineering & Hotel Management)
Applications for above courses/categories shall also be invited online and the fee for the purpose shall also be deposited by the candidate through e-challan.

The candidate should apply online on or before closing date and are advised to clearly opt the course i.e. Diploma (Engineering & Hotel Management)/Diploma (Engineering) Lateral Entry/Diploma (Pharmacy) and category i.e. TFW/ KM/HGST.

The candidate shall upload his/her passport size Coloured Photograph (JPG File Max. 50KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 50KB Size).

Before submitting the online application form, the candidate can check and edit his/her registration details. Further, the candidate should also ensure that the photograph & signature uploaded are his/her own photograph & signature. The incorrect information submitted in online application form shall not be entertained and in such a case the candidate is required to resubmit a fresh online application form and the fee should also be deposited against the fresh application form.

Candidates applying to following course/categories shall take the print out of online filled application form and deposit the same along with the attested copy of relevant application/merit calculation form/quota form, attested DMC of qualifying exam and original proof of fee deposited in the bank through online generated e-challan at near by collection center or HSTES, Panchkula before the closing date:
I. Diploma (Pharmacy)
II. TFW, HGST and KM categories of Diploma (Engineering & Hotel Management)

Eligibility :
Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination

Basis of Admissions :
The admission to Diploma (Engg. & Hotel Management) courses will be on the basis of DET – 2014 ranks based on inter-se Merit of DET – 2014.

For candidates obtaining equal marks in DET – 2014 merits, the candidate with higher marks in Math will be placed at higher Rank. If the candidate has same marks in Math, the candidate having higher marks in science will be placed at higher Rank. For the candidate having same marks in science, the candidate having higher marks in English will be placed at higher Rank. For the candidate having same marks in English the candidate having high marks in General Awareness and Aptitude will be placed at higher rank. For candidate having same marks in general Awareness and Aptitude, senior in age will be placed at higher Rank.

Syllabus and Scheme for DET – 2014 :
** Syllabus: Matric Standard of Board of School Education Haryana.
** Question Paper: There will be a composite Question Paper of One hour and 40 minute duration consisting of 100 objective type multiple choice questions of 1 mark each having equal distribution of English, Aptitude and General Awareness Test, Mathematics, Science
** Question Booklet will be both in English and Hindi with multiple-choice questions.
** Answer marked in more than one circle shall not be awarded any mark.
** THERE WILL BE NO NEGATIVE MARKING FOR THE WRONG ANSWER.

Instructions for applying online for all Diploma Courses :
1. To help and guide the candidates in Filling On-Line Application Forms for all Diploma Courses few institutions have been selected as designated centre / collection center. Candidates can apply free of cost from any of the nearby designated center / collection center on all working days on or before the closing date as mentioned in “key dates”. The candidate shall apply online on the website: onlinetesthry.nic.in.

2. The candidates shall select the course for which he/she wishes to apply. Candidates are advised to clearly opt the course i.e. Diploma Engineering & Hotel Management/ Diploma (Engineering) Lateral Entry / Diploma (Pharmacy) and category.

3. The candidate shall fillup the required details in the online application form.

4. The candidate shall upload his/her passport size Photograph (JPG File Max. 50KB Size) and Specimen Signature (JPG File Max. 50KB Size).

3 Availability of DET – 2014 Roll No./Seat No. and Centre at Websites From 20-05-2014 (Tuesday) after 11:00AM
4 Conduct of Diploma Entrance Test (DET – 2014) 25-05-2014 (Sunday) from 10:20AM to 12:00 PM (Candidate shall report by 10:00AM)
5 Result Declaration On 03-06-2014 (Tuesday) after 5:00 PM
