DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AND MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Sub: Recruitment of erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts from open market in PB-1 GP 1800/.

Based on the result of written examination held on 27-10-2013,17-11-2013, 24-11-2013, 01-12-2013 and 08-12-2013 and who have qualified in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) held from 10-03-2014 to 21-03-2014 at BRC to fill up vacancies notified vide the above referred Employment notice the shortlisted candidates (based on merit) have been called for verification of original documents and medical examination. Candidates may know their status about qualifying for Document Verification on our website www.rrc-wr.com by entering their Roll Number. The result of successful candidates is only provisional.The verification of original documents will be held from 21-04-2014(Tentatively) onwards.

Physically Handicapped candidates who are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET), their Document Verification is being conducted at Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Ratlam division of Western Railway on 25th March, 2014 and 26th March, 2014.

While due care has been taken in preparing the result, due to database/ inadvertent human errors, RRC-Western Railway, Mumbai reserves the right to rectify mistakes and omissions, if any at later stage of selection procedure.
Candidates may please note that, based on the performance in the Written exam, eligible candidates equal to 3 times of number of vacancies ( following the reservation rules etc.) in order of merit were called for PET.
Passing the PET was mandatory and the same was only qualifying in nature. Selection is made strictly based on the merit of the written exam.
Shortlisted candidates (equal to the number of vacancies) are being called for DV based on their merit position, availability of vacancies and as per reservation rules.

This is only provisional result and NOT the FINAL PANEL. Hence, calling of the candidates for Document verification and medical examination does not entitle any candidate for appointment in Railway service.

Call letters for the DV are being dispatched by Post. RRC/W.R is not responsible for any delay by postal department. Candidates who are not in receipt of their Call letter may download the same from RRC website mentioned above, 07 days prior to their date of DV. Duplicate Call letters can also be obtained in person by candidates himself/herself by producing counterfoil of original Call letter of PET at RRC office along with valid ID proof.

Candidates are advised to bring all original documents (Age proof, Education Qualification proof, Caste certificate and other certificates as applicable) along with 1 set of self attested photocopy of their certificates. They must also bring 04 passport size colour photographs.

Candidates are advised to be prepared for more than one day stay at the venue of DV. The date of medical examination will be advised by the Venue in-charge.

RRC-Western Railway reserves the right to declare any candidate successful or delete his /her name from the notified result /panel at any stage of the selection procedure, if any discrepancy or malpractice is noticed or brought to the notice of RRC at any stage and the decision of RRC in the matter shall be final.

RRC will not entertain any individual queries in this regard.
