Admission Procedure :
VECTOR Institute’s offers admission into Long-Term and Short-Term Embedded & VLSI courses.
For Long Term Embedded Systems & VLSI courses, we hold an All-India Admission Test at around 20 Centers, on a quarterly basis. Candidates willing to join our industry-specific and Long Term Embedded Systems & VLSI courses need to APPLY ONLINE, to appear for the Admission Test. There is NO FEES FOR THE ADMISSION TEST.
VECTOR Institute also offers a number of skill enrichment and job-oriented Short-Term courses such as C Programming, C++ Programming, C/C++ with Data Structures, Objective C, Mobile application development, Device Driver development, Embedded Linux, RT-Linux, Linux Internals, 8051 Microcontroller, ARM, VxWorks, RTX51, VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog.
The choicest short-term courses at VECTOR are C Programming, C++ Programming, Linux Internals and 8051 Microcontroller. These job-oriented and industry-specific courses will help them in developing Embedded systems such as Microcontrollers, real-time control systems, mobile device, PDAs, and similar applications.

The admission process at VECTOR Institute is governed by a well-laid out policy.

Candidates are chosen through an All India Entrance Test conducted every three months.

Note 1: Discounts upto 50% basing on test Score

Eligibility Criteria for Embedded Systems:
The eligibility criteria and process for admission into the Program in Embedded Systems is as follows.
BE/B.Tech in EEE/ECE/EIE/Electronics/Biomedical/CSE/IT/Mechatronics, MCA;
MSc (Electronics/Instrumentation, CS, Physics with specialization in Electronics);
M.Tech in Electronics/CSE/IT/Mechatronics with minimum 55%.
Test Syllabus for Embedded Systems:
Basics of C programming (without Data structures), Microprocessor 8085/8086 (architecture,assembly language, interfacing), Digital electronics, General Aptitude.
Mode of Test:
The test will be objective type consisting of multiple answer choices with Negative marking for wrong answers.
The correct choice has to be marked on an OMR sheet.
Selection Process :
Admission into VECTOR Institute’s Long Term Embedded & VLSI courses provides for a transparent and prompt selection process. Admission into Embedded & VLSI courses is strictly through the All India Admission Test only.
Domain knowledge, aptitude, technical skill set and academic achievements of each candidate are tested and verified by the Admissions Test. The test paper is approved by the industry. The Test consists of multiple choice questions that need to be answered on an OMR sheet.
Qualifying or getting a rank in the Admission Test does not automatically qualify a candidate for admission into our Long-Term Embedded or VLSI courses. Final discretion to provide or not to provide admission into any course offered by the Institute is reserved by VECTOR Institute’s management.
Note: Working candidates who are working in relevant streams can take the direct admission.

Test performance/Final degree %(70% &above)/GATE Score.
Discount upto 50% based on performance.
Entrance Test Center List :
VECTOR Institute’s All India Admission Test for admission into Embedded & VLSI courses is held simultaneously at 23 centers. Each candidate can choose only one center. Choice of Entrance Test Center is fixed, and no requests for change of Entrance Test Center will be entertained.

Actually, I am going to take the vector India admission test. However, I didn't prepare for the exam. I have been thinking that perhaps I'll not good at exams. So, is there any possibility to get admission for those people, who will not score minimum marks?
