Cost of Application :
Entrance Programmes Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST applicants on submission of a photocopy of Community Certi ficate)
Non Entrance Programmes Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST applicants on submission of a photocopy of Community Certi ficate)

** Candidates applying for more than one programme will have to use separate application forms.
** Application form and Prospectus can be had from the Registrar, Alagappa University by sending a Demand Draft obtained from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY” payable at KARAIKUDI by post or in person.
** Application form can also be downloaded from the University website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in in which case, the cost of application form (for the amount mentioned against the Programme) should be sent by way of D.D. while submitting the filled-in application form.
** Name and Address of the applicant and the program applied for should be mentioned on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
** Candidates appearing for the final year/ semester examination can also apply.

Submission of Application: The candidates should submit the filled in application form to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi during the office hours 10am -5.45 pm or by post before the stipulated date.

Certificates: Original Cumulative Marks statement/Grade Certificate, Provisional Certificate, Transfer Certificate of the qualifying degree, Community Certificate for verification and return and Medical fitness certificate. Two Pass Port size photos need to be produced along with Rs.5/- Stamped envelope.
Separate Hostel facilities (Board & Lodging) are available for male and female candidates, Those who need Hostel accommodation may approach the Wardens of the respective Hostels by producing their admission fee receipt.
Lodging fees payable to the Hostel – Rs. 8,500 /- Per Annum.
Boarding charges for every month will be collected under dividing systems.

Online Examination Application Processing System :
(Candidates have to submit the examination application form through online)
1) Examination application form can be submitted online through Alagappa University website (Those who are new to the online submission can refer to the details given in step by step method)
2) Click “ Apply Online” for getting examination application form on screen
3) Fill in the online examination application form carefully
4) Pay the examination fee through net banking or credit/debit card (nationalized bank cards are accepted). The payment can be made through three banks- Canara Bank, Indian Bank and IDBI Bank
5) After the successful payment of the examination fee, you will get a notification on the screen as “your online hall ticket generation is successful”
6) Click “Hall ticket take print out” to print the hall ticket instantly.
7) After the successful payment, if the hall ticket is not generated, the candidate should wait for 48 hours. No need to apply again.

STEP BY STEP METHOD: ONLINE SUBMISSION OF EXAMINATION APPLICATION FORM
1) Type your enrolment number and click “submit” button
2) Course, Month and Year of Examination will be automatically generated.
3) Select your Exam Centre Code
4) Fill in the necessary columns in the online application form carefully
5) It is compulsory to select all the subject codes for the current semester examinations
6) If you are applying for arrear papers, you can select the subject codes for which you want to apply (there is an option to edit/de select the subject code for which you are not willing to apply)
7) You can use any credit /debit cards (Nationalized bank cards) through the payment gateways like Canara Bank, Indian Bank and IDBI bank.
8) You can use credit card, debit card or internet banking option by clicking the link furnished below
9) On Payment of exam fees the Payment Reference No. will be generated. (Ex : MSPD3140319200 , MIOB3145612391, etc.,) Please note down it for future reference
10) Once the payment is made successfully, the candidate is authorized to take a print out of the hall ticket instantly.
