Application of ‘E-I’ Form Online :
Dept. of Value Added Tax UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli 17-Feb-14 Summary This document is a step by step user guide for the registered dealers of Department of Value Added Tax, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli to use the e-CST module of the VATSoft application. Using this module, the dealer scan submits online applications for E-I Forms, and upon approval, E-I Forms can be directly printed from their respective login.
Under the guidance of Ministry of Finance, Department of Value Added Tax has taken up the initiative of offering online services to the registered dealers at the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. As part of this project, the online services such as e-Registration, e-Returns and e-Payment were launched during August 2011. The e-CST module was launched effective from 19th February 2014. The dealers can avail the facility of submitting online requests for new H-Forms, take printout from their respective login.

A. Login page for dealers :
Log-in using credentials provided by the VAT Department.
There are two options for dealers to apply for application of E-I Form.
The dealer may choose any one of the below options :
** Screen based entry
** File based entry
B. Screen Based Entry :
I. After entering the credentials user redirected to the below screen under the section ‘ONLINE CST FORMS’ click on the link ‘Request Entry’.
II. User can select the EI form and click the button ‘Go’
III. Now, fill up all the required fields and click ‘Next’ button.
IV. Enter the invoice details and all other required details as depicted in the below screen
V. Click on ‘Browse’ and search the document to upload.
Click ‘Upload’ to upload the documents
It is mandatory to upload C-Form and LR copy of largest value during application for EI form.
VI. Click on ‘Update Main Details’ button.
VII. Click ‘Update and Submit’ button under section ONLINE CST FORMS
VIII. Click on ‘Select’ button
IX. Click ‘Update & Submit Form’ button to submit the form
X. Click on the ‘Print’ button to print the computer generated acknowledgement slip
XI. Click on the ‘status’ button under ‘ONLINE CST FORM’ section to see the status and can alter/modify the entered details
XII. Click on ‘Resubmit’ button in case of any modification required.
XIII. Click on ‘ADD/Update’ or ‘Delete’ button to modify/delete entries entered else exit as depicted in the below screen.
XIV. Click on ‘Print’ button to print the approved E-I Form under ‘ONLINE CST FORMS’.
After approval user can take print of the E-I Form through the link Print.
XV. Click ‘Print’ button to print the approved E-I Form
XVI. Click on print button gives computer generated PDF file
C. File Based Entry :
I. The below screen depicted the procedure for application for E-I form. The user can click on Reports and Help and download convertor.
II. Click on ‘Convertor’ button
III. Click ‘Download’ button to download the file to computer.
IV. Click ‘save file’ button
V. Click ‘Extract To’ and save to computer
VI. Go to folder VATeFSConvertor and click FHEI_Form_CST_COM (.xls)
VII. Enter/Paste details as required in the excel sheet in required format.
VIII. After entering/pasting the details in the correct format, click on the button ‘Convert to XML’. Please note that convert to xml button should be clicked only after entering all the desired invoice details in the excel sheet.
IX. Click ‘Upload XML/ZIP’ file to upload the document under ONLINE CST FORMS
X. Enter the required details as depicted in the below screen shot
XI. Click ‘Browse’ button to upload the document.
XII. Click ‘Validate XML Data’ button.
Now the user may follow the procedure from Point No.VII under Screen Based Entry to complete the application for E-I Form.
