Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT-2014) :
COURSES :
Except 2-year M.Tech in CEN, ECE, CSE, EEN, MEN admissions to all other courses run by the University are made through Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT). The AUAT-2014 will be held in different courses

ELIGIBILITY :
A candidate has to satisfy all the eligibility conditions given below for appearing AUAT-2014:
a) Candidates applying for AUAT-2014 should have passed / expected to pass the qualifying examination listed in Section before getting admission to the courses they wish to apply at the time of counseling. They should satisfy the eligibility criteria listed in Section

b) Candidates should meet the age requirements given in Section 7.4. 7.1 Qualifying Examination Candidates applying for AUAT-2014 in 4-year B.Tech, 5-year integrated and 3-year Arabic Hons. courses should have either completed or should be appearing in 2014 in any one of the following qualifying examinations.
a) The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE), West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education (WBBME), Central Board of Secondary Education (New Delhi) (CBSE), Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC), etc.
b) Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
c) Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy.
d) General Certificate of Education (GEC) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
e) High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
f) Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system.
g) Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of five subjects or H.S. Examination Conducted by W.B. Council of Rabindra Open Schooling.
h) 3 or 4-year Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.

Age Limit : For Course Code A 01, A 02, B 01 to B 03, D 01 and D 02 maximum age limit is 22 years as on 01-07-2014. For Course Code C 01 to C 10, maximum age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2014.

AUAT-2014 Online Application System :
Instructions :
** Read the admission information brochure and eligibility criteria carefully before starting your application process.
** Applying in courses you are not eligible for will only cause your application
** to be rejected & application fee will not be refunded.
** You have to ensure that you fill in all details and complete the entire application process at one go. If you leave it in between, you will have to start the process once again.
** After you have completed the form and made payment, you will get a unique application ID. Please use this ID in all communications.
** Students filling the online application can pay the application fee through online payment mode (Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking), Demand Draft(DD).
** Make sure you have the Card details or Demand Draft ready before starting the application process.
** You will need to upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature in the online application form. Image size should be less than 500KB. Keep the name of the Image file as “pic” for photograph and “sign” for signature (No special characters allowed in the image file names)
** For Course Code A 01, A 02, B 01 to B 03, D 01 and D 02 maximum age limit is 22 years as on 01-07-2014. For Course Code C 01 to C 10, maximum age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2014.
** Use Mozilla 5.0 or above or Google Chrome browser for filling online applications.

The Candidate who wants to pay through Demand Draft must purchase the Demand Draft in Favour of “The Registrar, Aliah University” Payable at Kolkata.
Submission of confirmation sheet along with documents is MANDATORY for all.

An application is not considered as ‘Completed’ if the confirmation sheet with all enclosure does not reach University address on or before 26.03.2014. (Those candidate who could not upload the photo and signature, should paste a photo and sign in the space specified before submission.)

Where and How to Send Your Completed Application Form :
Duly completed Application Form should not be folded, stapled or pasted together the Application Form and should be inserted in the envelope supplied. The envelope containing the Application Form and attested copies of Age proof, marksheet etc must be submitted to the CVS centres from where the forms have been collected. In case of ONLINE application, the ‘Confirmation sheet’ generated are to be submitted ONLINE.

Candidates will have to take the print of the fill-in ‘Confirmation sheet’ and then along with the Confirmation sheet, he/she will have to send all the testimonials (mentioned above) with the filled-in ‘Confirmation sheet’ to the University office by speed post/Registered Post in the address given below. In case any candidate is unable to attach his/her photograph and signature through ONLINE, he/she will have to send all the testimonials(mentioned above) with the application form (along with pasted photograph and signature) to the University office by speed post/Registered Post in the following address:
