Maintenance Services :
The Maintenance Department is an Administrative Department of MCGM that issues various Permits in consultation with and advice from other technical advisory departments like, Fire Brigade, Engineering, Estate, etc. Permission including Religious Permission, Social Permission, Political Permission, Election Permission, Shooting Permission, Pay & Park, Drainage Connection – First Street Connection, Erection of Temporary Chowki, Renewal of Temporary Chowki, Street Light Connection, Trenches – New Layout & Repairs and Faults, Handing Over of Road – Set Back Area fall under this category. In view of this, it is necessary to obtain Permit from Maintenance department before starting such activities.

** Handing Over of Road – Set Back Area
** Renewal of Temporary Chowki
** Lumsum Deposit to be paid by Utility Co. (Repairs & Faults)
** Trenches – Repairs & Faults (Average length of the trench not exceeding 5 meters)

Approving Authority :
Assistant Engineer-Maintenance / Assistant Commissioner (Ward)

Processing Duration :
Seven days (per scrutiny level) for all other applications from the date of submission of valid application along with required documents. Street light application & Handing over of Roads needs 4 to 6 months for approval

Application Scrutiny Levels :
Single level for Religious / Social / Political / Election / Shooting / Sports – Permission
Two levels scrutiny for all other applications. 3 to 4 levels for certain cases of Trenches and Pay & Park

Fees Applicable :
Scrutiny/Permit Fee payable at the time of submission of New Application/Permits
Schedule Fee payable after approval of application by the competent authority

Visit the nearest Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC) established by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

How to Apply :
Applicant needs to submit duly completed and signed application form, along with required documents and fees at the CFC. These applications will be available on this portal shortly.
