Applications on prescribed form are invited from Indian nationals for filling up the following posts with the University Grants Commission’s pay scale for Department of Teacher Education of this University
1 Name of the post : Principal/Head
No. of post : 1 (one)
Essential qualification:
a) Academic and professional qualification will be as prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor; and
b) Ph.D. in Education.
c) Ten years teaching [experience out of which at least five years teaching experience in a Secondary Teacher Education institution.
2 Name of the post : Assistant Professor (Foundation Course)
No. of post : 1 (one)
Essential qualification:
a) Master’s Degree in science/humanities with fifty percent marks.
b) M.Ed. with at least fifty five percent (55%) marks or its equivalent grade and
c) Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC/affiliating body/State Government from time to time for the positions of principal and Assistant Professor shall be mandatory.
OR
a) MA. in Education with 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
b) B.Ed. with at least 55% marks and
c) Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC/afiiliating body/State Government from time to time for the position of principal and Assistant Professor shall be mandatory.
3 Name of the post : Assistant Professor (Methodology Course)
No. of post : 6(six)
Essential qualification:
i) Master’s degree in a school subject with 50% marks
ii) M.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and
iii) Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC/affiliating body/State government from time to time for the positions of principal and Assistant Professor shall be mandatory
Cost of application form: Rs.50/-.
