Hawkins Needs Management Trainees

Founded in 1959, Hawkins Cookers Limited is a professionally managed, Public Limited Company. In 2012-13, Sales were 442 crores and Profit After Tax was 34 crores. Hawkins has two offices in Mumbai (at Cuffe Parade and Mahim) and three factories (at Thane, Hoshiarpur and in Jaunpur District).

Hawkins has a well-established Management Training Scheme for young men and women which leads to jobs in the management cadre in 18 months. Other than Sales and Engineering Trainees, all the jobs listed below may be located at any of our factories or offices. After successful completion of training, Trainees are confirmed with an appropriate increase in salary and benefits.

Sales :
Fresh graduates are required as Sales Trainees to be posted in important towns in various parts of India. The job involves travelling intensively, managing dealers, modern retail and institutions and achieving sales targets. Over and above the monthly remuneration of 40,000, incentives up to 6 months salary are available upon target achievement.

Accounts :
Fresh commerce graduates shall start at 40,000 pm; professionally qualified persons and persons with prior work experience may start at 60,000 pm.

Programmers :
Good practical knowledge of one or more of the following Languages – Visual Basic, SQL, C#, Power Builder, Java, ASP and FoxPro – is essential. Fresh graduates shall start at 50,000 pm and IIT graduates at 60,000 pm.

Personnel :
Postgraduates with specialisation in HR and/or Industrial Relations shall start at 50,000 pm. Persons with prior work experience may get an appropriately higher start.

Lawyers :
Fresh law graduates shall start at 50,000 pm. Persons with prior experience in Industrial Relations, Trademarks and Patents, Legal Metrology, Contracts or Commercial Law may get an appropriately higher start.

Personal Secretaries :
Bright, computer-literate graduates in any discipline, either freshers or with a few years of relevant experience, are needed to work with Senior Managers, providing all-round help in various matters. Fluency in word-processing is essential. Starting salary shall be 40,000 pm or higher depending upon merit and experience.

Engineering Graduates and Diploma Holders :
Diploma holders shall start at 40,000 pm; engineering graduates shall start at 50,000 pm; postgraduates and IIT graduates shall start at 60,000 pm. The disciplines in which we are interested are Mechanical, Electrical, Tool Design and Manufacture, Product Design, Industrial Engineering and Material Sciences.

The Next Steps :
