Fellowship :
India Fellow is a 13 month experiential learning program. As a India Fellow you will spend 12 months working full time with a field partner organisation ( FPO) and about 1 month of orientation, training and sharing spread across the whole Fellowship.
fieldWe believe that experiential learning; training, sharing/reflection and coaching are the 4 critical components of taking a India Fellow through a personal leadership journey and empower them to find their own path to make a difference.
These 4 components will be at the heart of the 13-month that India Fellows will spend with the program
** Training and Induction: Fellows will go through a 2-week training program on creative leadership and skills to be effective in their work. They will also get to interact with leaders across industry during these two weeks. This training will happen at the start of the Fellowship and during the mid term of the program.
** Experiential Learning: Fellows will spend a full year working with field partner organisations (FPO). These FPO will be leading non-profits, social enterprises on a range of social development issues such livelihoods, water, energy, and technology.
** Sharing and Reflection: Fellows will come together 3 times in a year to share and reflect about their learning in the field. They will also regularly share their individual learning through blogs, diaries and photo journals.
** Coaching and Mentoring: Each Fellow will be provided with a leadership coach who will guide them in their own personal leadership quest. A mentor will also be available to them at the host organisations
Fellows will get a modest monthly stipend for their 12 months with the organisation.

Selection Process :
Our selection process is a three step process. Applicants are shortlisted based on their application form. Shortlisted candidates will go through a telephonic interview with the India Fellows team. Those who qualify after the telephonic interview will be invited for a personal interview.
Final selections will be announced only after the personal interview.

We are looking for potential leaders. We believe that these leaders should exhibit certain values which are at the heart of leadership journey. The Fellows and Fellowship team would be expected to live by these values.

Timelines :
1) Applications close on 31st March 2014
2) Interviews on going. End on April 2014
3) Results : On a rolling basis from Middle of April 2014.
4) Program commence: Middle of June 2014
5) Fellows start their 12 month placement with field partner organisations by 1st week of July 2014.
