Project title: “Health systems preparedness for interventions for diabetes, hypertension, chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases and cancers and deaths due to non communicable diseases among the tribal population in India.”
Candidates are invited for a Walk-in-Interview at the above address for the following temporary posts for period of 6 months as detailed below. Candidates will not be entertained after 10.00 AM. Directions to the venue are given in the website.
1. Name of the post : Scientist B

Essential Qualification : MBBS degree recognized by MCI (OR) 1st class Master’s degree in Public Health / Epidemiology/ Social Sciences/Health sciences from a recognized university and Proficiency in local language
Desirable Qualification :
Medical candidates : MD (PSM or CM) or DNB (SPM) or MPH or Masters in Epidemiology from a recognized university
Non medical candidates : PhD in Epidemiology, public health or health sciences
Common for all candidates :
i) Research experience in field based health related projects
ii) Experience in data analysis using statistical softwares
iii) Knowledge of computer applications
iv) Ability to read and write Hindi
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Emoluments :
Scientist-B Medical : Consolidated Salary of Rs.52,500/- (includes NPA+HRA) per month
Scientist-B Non-Medical : Consolidated Salary of Rs.42,000/-(includes HRA) per month

2. Name of the post : Technical Assistant
Place of posting : Koraput, Odisha
Number of posts : 4
Essential Qualification : Three years graduate with 2 years experience preferably in health related research or health related field projects with proficiency in local language
Desirable Qualification :
i) Masters in Social Sciences OR Public health OR Epidemiology OR Social work OR Life Sciences
ii) Experience in field based data collection
iii) Willingness to work in rural areas
iv) Willingness to travel to all areas in Koraput district
Age Limit Not exceeding 30 years
Emoluments : Rs 24,300 per month
Duration : 6 months
