Eligibility :
Students studying undergraduate programmes, post graduate programmes in Engineering Colleges as well as Diploma holders of Polytechnics, MCA / B.Sc, M.Sc Computer Science / Science Group students with ability to demonstrate their innovative project work at VISAI PLATFORM .
PROJECT ABSTRACTS / MODELS INVITED IN THE FOLLOWING STREAMS
Mechanical stream :Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Civil & Allied
Electrical stream : ECE, EEE, EIE & Allied
Computing stream :CSE, IT, MCA & Allied
Biochemical stream : BioTech., BioMed., Chemical & Allied
Guidelines for participation in VISAI 2014:
Projects invited in 4 major streams
** Mechanical stream -Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Civil & allied
** Electrical stream – ECE, EEE, EIE & allied
** Computing stream – CSE, IT, MCA & allied
** Biochemical stream – BioTech., BioMed., Chemical & allied
** All Engineering /Technical Projects are eligible for this competition
** Submitted project will be reviewed by a committee of experts and the selected projects from each stream will be invited for Physical Demonstration (stage II) & Presentation (stage III) at Vel Dr.RR & Dr.SR Convocation Centre during 23-24 Feb 2014.
** Projects shortlisted for participation in the exhibition will be informed by e-mail & published in our website from time to time.
Best three projects of each stream will get prizes as below:
First Prize: 5,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
Second Prize: 3,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
Third Prize: 2,000 per stream + Certificate + Trophy
** Special awards in the name of CATEGORY AWARDS to promote exclusively the most sought after attributes in students by the industries today such as Best inter Disciplinary Project, Best teamwork Project, Best Display Project, Best design Project, Best innovation Project will be highlights of VISAI 2014.
** Additionally there will be 10 Consolation Awards and many more surprise/On the spot awards to encourage specific attributes not covered under any of the above categories .
** Each project shall accompany a self declaration and Certificate attested by Director / Principal / Dean / HOD of the institute where the project is submitted. Copy of self declaration form and Certificate are available in the event website.
** Applicants must bring their college ID card during the competition.
As 160 teams will be participating in the event elaborate arrangements are to be made in time for which you are requested to strictly comply with guidelines given above.
REGISTRATION FEE:
FOR INDIAN DELEGATES: RS. 2500 PER TEAM OF 3 MEMBERS, ADDITIONAL MEMBERS RS. 1000 EACH
FOR FOREIGN DELEGATES: USD100 PER TEAM OF 3 MEMBERS, ADDITIONAL MEMBERS USD 50 EACH
