1.Name of the post : General Manager (F& A)

Minimum Educational Qualification : Graduate from a recognised University and Member of ICA / ICWA / ICSI or MBA (Finance) from reputed Management Institutes such as the IIM or Member of an organized Finance Service such as IA&AS or Accounting Service such as IRAS, IDAS, P &T (F & AS) etc. with knowledge of MS Office

Minimum Educational Qualification :An Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS /FCS) with a Degree in Law

Minimum Educational Qualification :BE/B.Tech. Graduate (Civil Engineering) or Equivalent OR ME/M.Tech Graduate. (Civil / Structural Engineering) or equivalent desirable.

Essential : Computer Aided Design Software like Stadd Pro, Strap,Rm Software, ETab,
Desirable:
i) Finite element Analysis Packages.
ii) Should be a Member at least in one National Institution of relevant discipline like Indian Institute of Engineers, Institute of Bridge Engineers or Indian Arm of Consulting Civil Engineers or Institute of Survey & Land Management.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is entrusted with the responsibility of implementin gthe Bangalore Metro Rail Project. The project envisages establishing a Metro Rail system in the city of Bangalore in phases.

The Company invites applications for the posts of Director (Project & Planning) and Director (Rolling Stock, S & T, Electrical). The Directors will be Members on the Board of Directors of the Company and will report to the Managing Director.

1. Name of the post : DIRECTOR (PROJECT & PLANNING)
No. of Posts : One
Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institution of repute
Experience Essential:
(1) A proven track record of twenty (20) years of Group ‘A’ / Executive Service in Railways, including Railway PSUs/Metro Rail Corporations.
(2) Should have a minimum of five (5) years experience of the twenty (20) years mentioned above in Planning and Construction of multidisciplinary Railway projects, preferably in urban situations such as Metro /MRTS including experience in land acquisition and rehabilitation and resettlement of project affected persons.
(3) Should have extensive experience in preparing tendering / contract management and project management of important engineering structures such as bridges / tunnels.
(4) Should have experience and knowledge of coordinating and interfacing with Railway related disciplines such as track laying works, Signaling electrification and rolling stock etc.
(5) To be well versed with Safety aspects relating to Railway Construction and Operations.
Desirable:
(1) Experience in underground constructions (2) Experience of all phases of projects on international contracts i.e. Planning , Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning etc.
(3) Experience and knowledge of complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions.
Remuneration : The pay scale of the posts 75000 – 100,000 (IDA). Apart from Basic Pay, DA (IDA Pattern), HRA (30%) and Allowances (35%) will be allowed

2. Name of the post : DIRECTOR (ROLLING STOCK, S & T, ELECTRICAL)

Qualification : Degree in Electrical / Electronics and Communication Engineering from an Institution of repute
Experience Essential:
(1) Should have proven track record of twenty (20) years in Group A / Executive Service in Railways, including Railway PSUs/Metro Rail Corporations.
(2) Should have at least five (5) years of the twenty (20) years mentioned above, at senior level in Railway Electrification works of large nature. Metro Railway Projects/Manufacture of EMUs/Electric Locomotives
(3) Should have experience and knowledge of interfacing with Railway related disciplines such as track laying works, signaling, electrification and rolling stock etc.
(4) Should have proven experience and knowledge in handling Metro Rail Operation or EMU or Rail operations.
Desirable:
(1) Experience at senior level in Modern Metro Rail projects.
(2) Experience of all phases of major rail based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. planning, bid documents, bidding, execution, commissioning, post commissioning etc.
(3) Experience of implementation of major projects and complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions

Age at recruitment : (Both posts)
(i) Minimum 45 years and not more than 58 years for internal candidates and 57 years for external candidates as on 1.1.2014.
(ii) Government and PSU officers having qualification and experience prescribed, will be eligible for consideration on immediate absorption basis.
