It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned eligible candidates who have applied for entrance test for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Government Medical Colleges of the State, SKIMS-Srinagar & ASCOMS-Jammu and MDS Courses in the Govt. Dental College, Srinagar that their Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 20th of February, 2014.

Availability of Electronic Admit Cards :
Only Electronic Admit Cards will be available to the eligible candidates that can be downloaded (preferably in colour) from the BOPEE’S websites jakbopee.org/jakbopee.net/jkbopee.in from 13th to 18th of February, 2014. In case of any difficulty, applicants may avail this facility during these days at the Help Desk of I.T. Section of BOPEE both at Jammu and Srinagar, on payment of nominal fee of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only).

Candidates who fail to download their Admit Cards by the due date can also collect their Electronic Admit Cards from Help Desk of I.T. Section of BOPEE, Jammu/Srinagar in the morning on 19th of February, 2014 on payment of late fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in the form of non-refundable bank draft drawn in favour of the FA/CAO, BOPEE payable at Jammu/HDFC Bank Challan.

Examination Venue :
The Venue, Date and Time of the MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Entrance Test is mentioned on the Electronic Admit Card.

Important Instructions :
The candidates are required to reach the venue of the examination centres by the Reporting Time (i.e. 09:55 A.M. for morning session and 01:25 P.M. for afternoon session) on the day of examination. They are also required to carry with them any one of the below mentioned Photo ID Proofs in original positively, besides the Electronic Admit Card downloaded from the BOPEE website.

Photo ID Proofs: Election ID Card/Adhar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Photo ID issued by concerned college, Passport.

The candidates are also required to go through the below mentioned guidelines carefully:
** Tab, Smart Phone, Mobile Phone, Pager, Bluetooth Device, and Camera, Calculator or any other communication/electronic device is not allowed inside the premises of Examination Centre. If a candidate is found carrying on any one of these devices in the Examination Centre, his/her candidature will be cancelled including ban for future examination/selection.

** The candidate(s) who has/have submitted wrong/false information and has/have managed to appear in the examination will be disqualified from being considered for admission and if admission is granted on the basis of such information, his/her/their admission shall be cancelled and departmental action/criminal prosecution where ever applicable will be recommended including cancellation of registration.

** Mere appearing in the entrance test cannot be in any way read as a pronouncement by the Board upon the eligibility of a candidate or acceptance of submitted information which shall be determined subsequently.

** The candidates who are presently pursuing any PG/Diploma course are not eligible to appear in the entrance test till they complete their course.

** The candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the Electronic Brochure more particularly read instructions for filling of the OMR sheet very carefully as some important decisions of the Advisory committee have been incorporated in the form of instructions which will be strictly implemented while evaluating OMR sheets of the candidates.

** The candidates are informed that as a matter of policy the keys of the Question papers will be uploaded on the BOPEE’S website on 20th Feb. at around 6 pm and students can make representation(s), if any, against any question within two days (i.e. 21st and 22nd, Feb) up to 4 p.m. on a prescribed format with a documentary proof based on standard Text Books only, no other proof will be accepted. The prescribed format will be available on the BOPEE’S Website from 20th- 22nd Feb. 2014. No representation received after the prescribed date will be accepted in any case as that delays the whole admission process. These representations, if any, will be given due consideration by the experts whose decision will be final. On the basis of the decision of these experts a revised key, if required, will be uploaded again on the Board’s Website. No representation will be entertained on the revised key.

** The cases of impersonation will be dealt very seriously. Any candidate found involved in impersonation will be liable for cancellation of his/her registration together with the candidate on whose behalf he/she has appeared in addition to criminal prosecution for fraud/forgery/ impersonation and criminal breach of trust.
