ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION TO MDS COURSES – 2014 RESULT NOTIFICATION NO. 15/2014
The following is the list of candidates who have qualified for admission to MDS courses in various Dental Colleges/Institutions in India against 50% seats All India quota on the basis of All India Entrance Examination held on Saturday, the 25th January, 2014, in pursuance to Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell) Letter No. U.14020/2/2013-ME.IV dated 25-10-2013. The list is roll number wise and the respective category rank is given against each roll number. The admission is subject to verification of eligibility criteria & original documents as given in the Prospectus.

The Institute is not responsible for any printing error. The allocation of subject and Dental College will be done by the Directorate General of Health Services through counseling. The schedule for counseling will be made available on website of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare namely www.mohfw.nic.in in due course. Result is displayed on the notice board of Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi and is also available on web sites and www.aiims.edu and which include category and over all rank of the candidates.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All candidates are advised to remain in touch with MCC’s website ( mcc.nic.in) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s website ( mohfw.nic.in) till completion of Post Graduate admission process for any additional result, counseling schedule, instructions etc.
2. The selecte candidates may be advised to send their queries, if any, to email id aiqpg-mcc@nic.in.
3. The SC- PH seat will be available, only if there is increase of seats of 10% or more compared to number of seats available in academic year 2013-14. In case the MDS seat increase is less than 10% then the SC-PH category seat will not be available.
4. Rank Letters will be available on AIIMS website aiimsexams.org subsequently after counseling schedule is finalized by the DGHS Ministry of Health & Family Welfate. Telephonic, e-mail enquires will not be entertained.
5. The vacancy position (college-wise) may be seen on web site mohfw.nic.in and ( mcc.nic.in)
6. Candidates without original documents will not be allowed to appear/ participate in the allotment of seats by personal appearance by D.G.H.S.
7. All the certificates especially the Caste certificate must be in Hindi or English. In case the certificates are in regional language, its English version translated copy duly authenticated by a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer will be required in original.
8. The office of DGHS (ME Cell) may be contacted for clarifications relating to counselling.

Important notice for qualified Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates :
Reference ‘Information Bulletin’ of AIIMS for All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination-2014(AIPG Dental-2014) [MDS Courses] and as per MDS Course Regulatin – 2007 – Amendment dated 31st May 2012 isued by Dental Counsel of India

3%seats of the annual sanctioned intake capacity shall be filled up by candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70%.

Provided that in case any seat in this 3%quota remains unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% then any such unfilled seat in this 3% quota shall be filled up by persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50%- before they are included in the annual sanctioned seats for General Category candidates.”

All qualified physically handicapped (PH) candidates are requested to keep themselves certified immediately at one of the under mentioned Disability Assessment Boards constituted at the 4 metro cities:
1. Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Ansari Nagar, (Ring Road), New Delhi-110029.

All qualified physically handicapped candidates may please note that on the basis of the Disability certificate issued by one of the 4 above mentioned Disability Assessment Boards candidates will be permitted to take admission against PH quota in allotted Dental College. Qualified PH candidates must get themselves examined at earliest and sent a self attested photocopy of their disability certificate with mention of their name, category, rank number, email id, contact telephone number(s) to Assistant Director General (ME), R. No. 352- A Wing, Nirman Bhawan, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi 110011 by speed post and scanned copy by email to aiqpg-mcc@nic.in
